There must be a mistake I did not buy a mat in 2025 and have submitted a review for my last one Anyway as I keep having reminders here goes Tirtle mats are the only doormats that I would buy Have tried cheaper similar looking Not in the same league as British Turtle Mat company They are the best and the most hardwearing Wag well and brilliant quality
I relied on turtle mats for years until the last time.I purchased 2 of your largest (at the time, and few years ago) black/grey mats for my kitchen. They immediately started shedding black fluff everywhere. I contacted Turtlemat and was told I should have washed them before I used them. That is ridiculous. They were too big to go into my large capacity washing machine. I said this was unreasonable and unacceptable and wished to return them for a refund. At that I was told they would not accept them unless they had been washed, so I had to take them to a launderette.Since then I have never bought another Turtle mat. This happened a few years ago but this website does not allow dates more than one year ago.
We have a number of Turtle Mats and find them excellent. They are in use at front and rear entrances to the house, and also in entrance ways to other rooms to prevent wear to carpeting. They are extremely good at collecting dirt, wash well and last.
I'm very pleased with my Turtle mats. I have two of the brown Sanderson designs near my patio doors which I purchased about a year ago. They would probably benefit from a wash but I don't think they will fit in my washing machine so I just give them a good shake and vacuum them with a Dyson hand held machine. The other mat is more colourful and a little larger and is used near kitchen sink and stays in place on the tiled floor. I use the same cleaning procedure as before. Excellent value bought in half price sale. I would recommend Turtle mats to any potential customers.
My four turtle mats are many years old and still in very good condition. The design is eye catching and the quality is outstanding. They are very easy to keep clean and even with an occasional wash in the washing machine, maintain their good looks.
