Got my Credit Good - Aftercare - Shocking

I have struggled to get credit and UCAN helped me obtain this - for which I am very thankful, however the car is bought is currently parked up and not fit for purpose.There is an issue with the oil/sensor/vehicle - which I am sure could be fixed quite promptly by Volvo (on reading up it likely needs to be Volvo) but The Hyde Branch Manager states the following:"I've read through your email and unfortunately our warranty does not cover the astronomical labour and diagnostic prices at main dealer as I'm sure you can understand and although I appreciate your looking for peace of mind please don’t believe main dealers your answer" This is not a warranty job, the vehicle was sold to me with a fault...The oil level was overfilled when they serviced the vehicle, I had to get this sorted and I am still awaiting the promised refund.The Hyde Branch Manager was quite clever though, in so much he made me think that I was the one that was in a rush for the vehicle - not the case, I was called multiple times and asked if I could get down on the day that I did go down - which I did, it was the last day of the month (anyone that works in a cash driven business will know month end is a big day) In fairness, they have offered to wind the deal back, however! the finance dies with the deal and on speaking to the finance company (Billing) who were absolutely spot on with me, further finance is not guaranteed - so I could end up in the same position as I am in now, with no vehicle to use.I so wanted the aftercare to be what they promised, but trust me - once the finance company have paid out, they wont pick the phone up to call you 5 times a day nor send the multiple dozen text messages every day.Check the info they are giving you also, I was told that the vehicle I purchased was on a timing chain (its not) They have 2 stars because they managed to get me the credit required to buy a car I absolutely love - I would definitely love it more if I could drive it knowing where the oil was at …Anyway!Sit Rep - 07/11/2024 - I believe that the vehicle is now functioning as it should. And I’m over £300 out of pocket (let’s see if it gets reimbursed) I’ve also had a request to remove facts from this review - which I haven’t, but I have protected the persons identity. It’s amazing how they only request this when the feedback is negative. Response to reply 07/11/2024I am not sure where I have indicated that I was ignored? but certainly I have not had the same amount of calls following the sale than I have pre the sale.Being economical or cheap is all well and good providing that there is a positive outcome - I took the vehicle to and paid for diagnostics myself on the vehicle, a sensor was reset (which only Volvo can do using the Vida system) and hey presto - the vehicle seems to be reading fine (at the moment) it cost me the princely sum of £120+ VAT - don't worry, I will foot the bill for that.So you can ignore the £638.40 an independent garage has quoted for replacing the sensor for the time being.There are zero inaccuracies within my review, not a single one - everything I have stated I can and will when required back up with evidence.

This is the second time I have used ucan car credit and must say they are excellent. I had Nas take care of me this time round and he was so patient and went out of his way to ensure everything fit my criteria of what I was looking for. I most definitely recommend using Ucan car credit

I was low on confidence on being successful on getting finance as my credit rating was very poor no not very poor. ULTRA poor but what a team Hyde of Manchester have Polite Professional and very hard working But I struck gold when Laura handled my case she is a great asset to the Hyde branch it was a long day as my credit was poor and complex but bless her she was so nice and great at her job well done the Hyde team Thankyou
