Review Time
Went in at 4:55, they were closing in 5 minutes. They stayed open to fit my fiancée to a new pair of shoes. Blew out hers on the trail, and knocked the rear derailer out of spec. The bike tech Hunter, quickly adjusted the derailer. Now it’s shifting like butter. They went above and beyond to make the remainder of our vacation smooth.
First of all, customer service is FANTASTIC. That cannot be overstated. That's why I hate to give only four stars. The issue for the lower rating is because of the store itself and the website. I was shocked by the lack of supply and the limited amount of options throughout the store. You all really just don't have a ton of stuff so I don't see how I'd ever shop here on purpose. It was only because I had a gift card. The website was a mess. Constantly freezing and slow. Just feels like this is a store in major decline.
Brooke at Gearhead was exceptional! I was looking for 2 thermarest neo loft pads in large (which was really difficult) she said they had 3 in their system and helped to pay online and had them shipped immediately from 2 different locations. She went above and beyond to help. I can't say enough about Brooke or Gearhead!
Omg! Sarah at the Lincoln Square store in Chicago is amazing!! I came in for a gift and because there is so much cool stuff I started trying stuff on and buying a few things… and I tried on a Vuori sweatshirt and it a little too tight. When I pulled it off I noticed my diamond earring was missing! I was freaking out, Sarah came right over with a flashlight and she got down on her hands and knees with me to search. Then she said have you searched your bra? I kinda did but then I gave it a good shake and my earring dropped to the floor! I hugged her! Then she noticed the floor was dirty while searching for the earring. She came right over to clean it! Keep this Sarah happy!!! You have an excellent employee- not to mention a really cool person!!! The store? Amazing! I found a gift and an outfit!!!
