Terrible customer service. Cannot get a reply after they have not sent an e gift card to the recipient but have charged me!! Been on hold 3 times and then leave name and number to no reply terrible wouldn’t order from this website ever again.
Sadly loyalty seems to be a huge negative if you’re an Elemis customer. If purchasing via the Avios store (to earn Avios points) you’ll get 8 Avios per pound as a new customer but loyalty gets you only 1 Avios per pound. Such a shame that they penalise existing customers to such a degree (and clearly they don’t understand the importance of customer retention).
This is probably one of the best skincare products I’ve ever used. I have been an Elemis customer for over 5 years now and always get complimented on my skin. Unfortunately, the company seems to ride on their quality, but neglect their customers-a very typical pitfall. I echo what a few Trustpilot reviewers have said about the bogus discount offers and how they either don’t work, or are on products you hardly ever use. Elemis is extremely pricey, and for that kind of price tag, a clever marketing department would clock that your customers will need special treatment. The entire world is facing a global recession-Elemis doesn’t have the luxury of being so complacent!
Returns process is horrendous, took over 45 minutes on live chat with them trying to get a label from them, just for them to say it will take a little while for the return to be approved. Why is it such a long process for returns? Most online companies you can generate a returns label in less than a minute. Awful and I’ll never be ordering from them again, not worth the hassle. Customer service agent Jemma was particularly useless.
Very disappointed with Elemis unfortunately as I love their products. Signed up for marketing alerts as I wanted to buy some Christmas goodies and there was a 15% promo offer. Literally every time I've tried to use it, the items are exempt. I don't think it's genuine at all! Went on the live chat tonight and was fobbed off with feeble excuses about terms and conditions etc. Have texted STOP to unsubscribe to the alerts but would be interested to know from others if any of their promo codes actually work.
So I clicked on the link from BA Shopping with an offer of double Avios on my first purchase, the click registered and I had a clickID in the account however, Elemis didn't credit my account, I had to do a manual claim of missing avios points. I then only received the normal offer as if I was a repeat customer and now this morning I've had an email stating the 300 points are now being taken away because some T&C excuse which I met. Someone else mentioned on here they lie on cashback offers too. I guess I'll shop elsewhere in future.
