First off I'd like to say the products are great, affordable and delivery is fast! We purchased our travel system way back in May ready for my October baby (I went down the rabbit hole of travel systems) I ended up buying the Oyster 3 from UK Baby Centre and am extremely happy with it! We have had no issues at all.
Today I decided to clean the removable wheels for the first time with warm water and a cloth and I noticed some of the silver foil had started feeling off one of the back wheels. I decided to email UK Baby Centre to see what they could do and I had the pleasure of speaking with the wonderful MIKE! Mike emailed me back within 5 minutes of my original email, asked for additional information which I provided. He spoke to the manufacturer and sorted a replacement for me all within an hour! Talk about fantastic customer service! If anyone is thinking about ordering from UK Baby Centre, I highly recommend them to everyone!
I ordered a Joie i-Spin XL child car seat which UK Baby Centre delivered quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately it's too big for the back seat of my Mini so I had to arrange to return it, which was a relatively simple process. The box was very heavy so I asked for their collection service, and Denise in Customer Service arranged for a DHL pickup the next working day. After DHL failed to pick up the box on two successive days I contacted Denise again, and although it was late in the day she quickly arranged a DPD pickup for the next morning. That went perfectly. Great Customer Service from Denise.
After using our Nuna pram for almost 2 years we suddenly had a manufacturing defect become apparent when the metal bar holding up the undermounted carrier basket split from the frame of the pram. What might have been a nightmare for us turned into a dreamy customer service experience as soon as I spoke with Mike from the UK Baby Centre. He followed up our call with an email giving a clear and simple description of what was needed from me (pictures of the issue and an order number) for him to request a replacement from Nuna. Shortly after I provided the details he got in touch with Nuna who agreed to send us a replacement. He also arranged for DPD to collect our broken pram and have them deliver a new one. The admin took only a few minutes and the whole process of having our pram collected and a new one delivered took 4 days. We are super grateful to the UK Baby Centre and wholeheartedly recommend them on the basis of the customer service we received. Thank you, Mike!
I bought a stroller and it didn't meet my expectations. The basket underneath feels weak and is quite small. It's probably suitable for occasional trips, like flying, as it folds up nicely and doesn't take up much space. However, based on my experience, I’m not a fan.
I can’t comment on after-sales support since I haven’t needed it due to no issues. However, I reached out for a quote on an item as I didn’t require a full package like what was available online. They responded incredibly quickly, providing a straightforward quote and handling everything promptly. They addressed all my questions, and the items were shipped quickly and exactly as described. It couldn’t have been easier and the pricing was very competitive! I’m only using it as a single stroller until the new baby arrives, so I haven’t unpacked the rest yet, but everything so far is absolutely perfect.
While the assistance from the warehouse staff could have been improved, having all the pushchairs available in-store was a definite advantage for testing. The overall pricing is more competitive than others, and the quick delivery service is greatly appreciated!
I have purchased from them before and have always received excellent service. Recently bought more baby items and noticed that a part was missing from my organiser. Thanks to Mike's efficient efforts and prompt communication, the issue was resolved in under two days, with the part being sent out. Thank you for turning a potentially stressful situation into a smooth experience. 10/10 for customer support!
