Urban Outfitters sent me a damaged item. Because my order was forwarded to the Netherlands, their return label was unusable.
Customer service explicitly instructed me to buy my own return shipping label and confirmed in writing that the cost would be reimbursed once I provided the receipt. I did exactly that.
After I paid and sent proof, they admitted the agent gave “incorrect information” and then refused to reimburse, hiding behind “policy” and telling me to claim it with the carrier instead.
So Urban Outfitters can make a written promise, let you spend money, then walk it back. Unacceptable.
Honestly, it was a quite dirty store - I’m talking clusters of lint, dirt and dust and cobwebs in the changing rooms and store.
The shop assistants were…around somewhere, but definitely not asking if anyone needed any help. When addressed at the counter, they were nice and friendly though, which is the only reason for the three stars.
Purchased boots for my daughter at a premium price during Christmas, but the quality is poor. I've reached out for assistance but received no help, leaving her with unusable boots due to ripped material, which are extremely uncomfortable. There’s absolutely no aftercare, just a focus on making the sale.
I bought two £50 hoodies for my granddaughter for Christmas. While £50 is a considerable amount for a hoodie, the quality was outstanding—the material was thick and the colors vibrant. These are the best hoodies I've purchased in a long time. Most importantly, my granddaughter was absolutely thrilled with them. The delivery was quick; I ordered on Monday and received them by Wednesday, just three days before Christmas. I will definitely order again. Thank you to the company!
Extremely poor customer support when ordering online; I've been waiting for an email response for a month. I attempted to return some items, but my package was rejected and sent back to me. I strongly advise against ordering from this place, especially if you expect genuine assistance from customer support. It seems to be solely automated responses with different names each time you start a chat.
Update: I appreciate your response, but the issue remains unsolved. The package has still not arrived. My daughter is without a Christmas gift as it was not delivered on time (January 5th).
I placed my order well in advance.
I won't be ordering again.
Shopping online with this company has been very frustrating. For three consecutive years, I've faced issues with Christmas orders. In 2023, my order was delayed, and after waiting two weeks, I learned it wouldn't arrive in time, forcing me to scramble for a replacement gift. In 2024, my order was canceled due to stock unavailability, even though I had successfully placed it days earlier. Now it's December 2025, and the same problem has occurred: my order was canceled due to lack of stock, despite having ordered and paid recently. This indicates a significant inventory management problem. Experiencing this issue three years in a row points to a deeper, systemic issue within the company. I will no longer shop here as these recurring problems are unacceptable.
