Review Time
The order was delayed but there was no communication. I had to inquire multiple times to find out if it was going to ship in time for the conference. It was an item that was supposed to ship within 3 days. I even paid for expedited shipping to ensure that I would receive them with plenty of time to spare before the conference. But no, it came down to the wire and only after multiple calls and emails did I finally have communication as to a delay (no kidding) and they would ship the next day. I received them late on Thursday night. I opened the box of Friday to check them and discovered that the notepads were a poor quality. The logo was muddled and not clear. Like the ink had bled instead of remaining sharp and clear. Part of the logo wasn't even visible. I reached out to the gentleman who had helped me place the order. He forwarded my pictures and complaint to customer service. A day or two later I got an email asking for more pictures which I sent. I took them to the conference anyway, because I had nothing else to use in their place. Crappy notepads were better than no notepads. A week later I get an email that the supplier wants the product back. Really? Okay. I call the number on the email to speak with the person who sent it, because this "week in between contact" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, when I call I am told that "Trevor" is email only and doesn't take calls. What? I find this company strange to work with. They are all very polite and stay on their scripts, but frustrating because you can't cut through the script and resolve things quickly. Communication is terrible. When the product was going to be delayed, they should have notified the customer and not waited for the customer to call with concerns. Having long pauses in communication when there is an issue, is exasperating. While I have had success with ordering some products in the past, this experience does not bode well. Working with a company should not be exasperating. I want to work with people who care about the outcome, not people who are asked to be ineffectual robots.
We recently ordered from pens.com and were very pleased with the overall experience. The customization was spot-on, the pens themselves were high quality, and delivery was prompt. The only reason we’re not giving a full 5 stars is that the package arrived slightly open, which raised a minor concern about handling. Fortunately, everything inside was intact. We’ll definitely consider ordering again
Fast and reliable to get the payment from customers. The only thing I could think of suggesting is to add a way to write how many items of the same product the client is buying rather than just pressing on the product five times. Besides that, it has been great to use square!
