Review Time
I needed to change something on the order and was told they would have to cancel the entire order, I just wanted to change a color. Anyway we cancelled the order and I was not going to reorder. I received a phone call from one of your associates and he helped me do the order like I wanted, was extremely helpful and with out his call I would not have placed the order.
This has been the worst experience and lack of support! I have had square for awhile now and even signed up for their banking. My husbands debit card is linked to our account because we transferred funds into the account. On Sunday Aug 31, 2025 our account was hacked. Someone transferred in money to our Square account four times then did a bill pay to a fictitious company four times to total $2K. I noticed this within 30 t0 40 minutes and immediately tried to contact Square. The only way I could contact anyone was by emailing their customer service. I called on Monday and was able to reach someone by phone who assured me I would be contacted the following day by someone on their security team since due to the security team not working on holidays and they would contact me by phone since this was such a sensitive issue. I was also reassured that my account was put on hold and that the Bill Pay would NOT go through! When I was not called I reached back out to Square and was told they had one to two business days to complete the investigation and that I would receive only an email. Well, this is the third business day and again I reached out to Square only to be told that the investigation was in fact not completed and that they would reach out to the security team to try to push them a little to review my account. When I asked about my account being put on hold I was told they could not see anything and that they hoped that it was! Just so happens I received an email just then that all Bill Pay payments had gone through! I asked to speak to someone again on the security team and was told they had no way to get ahold of them. I then asked to speak to a Mgr and was told I needed to give them a chance to resolve the issue. Again I asked to speak to a Mgr and was then told they were the only one there and there were no managers there OR anyone else. Hard for me to believe that with Square being as big as they are that they 1 - would not have someone from security working on a holiday, 2 - would only have one person working and 3 - that there were no managers working! Is this company for real? If you want a company that has an easy set up or if you want to lose your money then this is the company for you! As for my husband and myself...we work too hard to just give thief's our money! Worst part of this is not only did a thief hack our account BUT Square endorsed it making them just as big of a thief! Oh and isn't it funny how while writing this I called Square back and got another agent? I thought the first agent was the only one working! Not that it did any good because he then hung up on me! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!
We "upgraded" from our Square iPad system to the new Square Register and menu functionality is not the same! We maintain all of our products under specific categories, we simply went in to that category and could ring multiple items. That feature is no longer available to us. We now need to go in to the category, ring an item and it throws us right back to the select a category. Need to go back in to ring the next item. Has decreased our productivity by 50%. 4 hours with tech support and was told, that's the way it is! Not good there Square, not good at all!
We are a church that uses the Square for an annual Fall Festival. We paused our account with the Square approved & allowed 3 month period. Now that the 3 months have gone by, we have not been able to run any sales on the account even though we are being charged for the Square monthly payment. We have been unable to find a phone number of anyone to talk to that can or will help resolve the problem.
So I didnt like how you didnt get told anything just your account being deactivated. They ask a simple question and you give them simple answer and they dont help you at all also if your account is deactivated they will hold your funds for 90 days!! I got a month left! Overall somethings can be fixed but I liked square wish they would help me back since I fixed my MSIC code!
