Fine, I thought, whatever, but I need to return my client's money. But guess what? That’s impossible because Square has frozen the funds for 120 days!SQUARE, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? WAKE UP! What are you doing?! So now, my client has to initiate a chargeback through their bank, and you will deduct a transaction fee from my account for a payment you already held?So, according to your deactivation policy, I have three options:Force my client to request a chargeback without delivering the product.Deliver the product and wait 120 days for my money.Ask my client to file a chargeback without giving them the product (basically scamming them), but still pay you a ridiculous transaction fee.YOU ARE SCAMMERS! I WILL WRITE ABOUT YOU ON ALL SMALL BUSINESS FORUMS! Deactivating my account after accepting a payment—brilliant! Why not deactivate my account before accepting a payment so that my business and finances don't suffer? I hope life treats you all the same way!
