Square is literally the worst. Do not use. I just started a staging company. My first client was a real estate agent and I was paid via cash and check. My second is a friend I've known for years. He wanted to pay with CC. I opened a square account. He had me stage a couple rooms in his house and the feedback at his open house convinced him to hire me for the rest. I finish working a 14 hour day at midnight and charge him while we were catching up. Go to transfer the money, which was around 2300 when I got home and couldn't. My account was under review. I have a website and business cards. I just started this business and he was my second client. There isnt a license I need for this and I was waiting to create an LLC for a few different reasons. They are making me wait 9p days for my money. 90 days. For MY money.
Very happy with the protection I receive. I was having computer issues and took my computer into a repair shop. He recommended ESET and I installed the program. The services offered are better than most of the industry's well-known names. And better yet, their cost is more economical for similar protections.
So far I have like square and the fact that it keeps totals and keeps track of everything, I think it needs a few things a little bit larger screen, or the options to make it larger and also a voice to text sometimes when you’re really busy it’s hard to sit down at the little tiny monitor and put out invoices Especially after a long day at work. It would be nice to be able to use. Talk to text if you can’t see the screen well other than that it is a little bit glitchy for shipping orders. We do have a hard time with some orders, not showing up in the order shipment queue so it would be nice to be able to manually override that and I can’t the only way I’ve been able to do that is to send a one cent invoice for shipping and then then I shipped their order from there also There is not an option for some of my customers pay as they go so they buy one thing pay it off and I hold it and then then next week they’ll claim one more item pay it off and I hold it and then eventually on the third week they’ll buy another item and I ship all of them together Unfortunately I’m not allowed to include number one number two and number three invoice notifying the customer that all three items have shipped so it’s causing me tons of extra communication each time I put out an order because it looks like only item 3 has shipped when it’s actually 12 and three so those are kind of my complaints. It is a good system I think the fees are a little bit high But it works and until I switch over to another platform that’s what I’m going to use.
