The customer support at square is absolutely horrible

The customer support at square is absolutely horrible. You can no longer call directly to get a human on the phone. You now have to do chat support. The process takes forever because they are helping multiple people at once. I had to repeatedly ask the chat person 5 times how to get someone on the phone. After 30 minutes trying to get an answer to that 1 question! I was finally informed how to do it when i threatened to take my business elsewhere. Then the. nightmare continued. The reps are very poorly trained and do not know what they are doing. Horrible. I was on phone 11/2 hours the first time to try to receive a new reader. Mine stopped working after 2 months. The rep emailed the wrong form. I wanted a replacement not a refund. The readers have a 1 year warranty. This is the second reader in less than 1 year. Had to call back in the next day. This time 2 1/2 hours on phone. Rep was just as unknowledgable as the one the day before. Had to wait on hold for 35 minutes for a supervisor to get the help i needed.I do not want to ever do business with them again and will look for another company. Don't appreciate the waste of my time and the immense frustration. Even got hung up on and the rep did not call back which they are supposed to. After 10 years with the company, they have drastically gone downhill. I would rather pay higher processing fees than continue with square.

Client texts responses

I prefer my clients not be able to respond to the square text reminders. When they send texts and the AI tries to accommodate them. My appointments get really messed up. I’d prefer my clients not be able to text the AI. I don’t find a setting to turn that off without turning off the reminders completely.

From start to finish our experience was positive and speedy. Our sales representative was knowledgeable and helpful. We received our cabinets as scheduled. We opted to install them ourselves and installation went smoothly. We would definitely purchase again from Wren kitchens and have suggested them to our friends.

Horrible service

I recently set up my account for drone repair service and wood working hobby, I had a customer pay in visa gift cards, which I confirmed they all had money on them. I charged each one on my square account, and set up my bank account to it. I was then told my account was under review and my funds would be released in 24 hours. 24 hours later I got an email saying my account was deactivated for unsupported services and my money would be held for 90 days. I called them because I got no explanation except for unsupported services as to why this was, mean while I had already done the repair on a drone for a customer and gave it back. now I am without funds on this because my money is held and account is deactivated. Wow! what a company.

I've never had an issue and the service is great

Square has never cause me any trouble and thats likely because I look for answers before contacting them. I only had to contact them once and they still gave me ways to solve the issue even though it worked itself out. I've been with Square since about 2014.
