This was my first experience and the customer service was great my friend is a side Xs and I was able to find her something great and I walked around the whole store trying to find something. I will be coming back because this has amazing coast and pants with great quality!!!
I like the idea of being able to take credit card payments wherever I go, as I do many fairs and trade shows. The card reader that I was sent for free does not connect to my android phone. I searched your website to see if there was any equipment that I needed to make this happen. I found no solutions.
Square was so simple, fast and easy. The app set up in my Samsung galaxy 23 plus in seconds. I used it this past weekend at my first big arts and craft show without one bit of trouble. I really like the simplicity and the speed at which Square takes the payment at the POS and puts the money into my account. It is the best for small businesses like myself. Thank you so much Square for making my life simple and easy.
Took a payment over the virtual terminal; received 3/5 of the amount as 2/5 was deducted for "other" charges. Upon inquiry with Square, they stated that I had disputed charges that caused the deduction. My account had somehow been hacked and a bogus email account had somehow been attached to my account.I had to file an identity theft report with FTC, ultimately got my money from Square; I must also add that none of my credit cards or bank accounts have any suspicious charges; this problem was unique to Square, and frankly I am afraid to take payment using Square.
I set up an account with Square to process payments specifically for Spa Finder Gift Cards. The account processes them seamlessly. I began in May 2023 and the funds never transferred to my account. I kept thinking I had something set up wrong and kept trying different settings and re-entering my account info. When I finally gave up and called them to ask for help setting up, they said they would have to refer me to another department higher up for review and they would email me. I instantly received an email stating my account has been deactivated. They stated that my funds will be released in February of 2024. (This was November 8, 2023). No explanation...nothing. Every time I call they say "the decision is final." They will not forward me to a supervisor or anyone else... Always...the decision is final. I even had my banker call them and tell them the code and laws stating this is illegal to hold the funds for 10 months. I cannot speak with anyone and they only send generic email saying "account is deactivated". They are holding over $5K of my money and I am a small, local business...this is literally my payroll. I do not know what else to do. How are they legally allowed to do this?
