I am dissatisfied with their service, especially support. I have a store in Belgium and they do not accept payment in my store because it is in euros. When I contacted support to help me and solve this problem, there was a huge delay in responding and no response many times.
As a business entity, we have been using Square all this while and everything was fine until we needed support. Square doesn't protect its seller community. For the current situation, we have got in touch with Square support and have got the same answer for the issue - that they cannot hold the amount until and unless we get our product returned with all its original invoices and certificates of high-value goods. Which is not fair in any case.2nd Answer:- The temporary hold has been made after more than half the payment has been given to the buyer - when they already have the product with certificates. So now they have the diamond ring worth $3631.25 and $1900 already with them safely. Do you understand the case and the loss? Is this a fair case?
Most of November 2023 Square Up have had technical / security issues that cause the system to be unusable. I had to pay $20.35 to transfer my money to my regular bank to be able to withdraw today due to another outage. On top of the $20.35 cents it cost me $30 for 5 gallons of diesel to make the 100 mile round trip to my bank. They had offered refunds for transfer fees earlier this month when they had other outages and I did not take them up on the refunds but this time it was just to much money in fees to tolerate, so I called customer support and the rep put me on hold while they asked a supervisor if they could refund me my fee and they declined. I have been using them for years but I think I might switch to another company/processor after this.
