Extremely Disappointed with the Service

I underwent a necessary medical procedure and paid $2200 out of pocket, assured that the rest would be covered. Months later, I received a bill indicating I still owe $7000! After dealing with a kidney stone and an ER visit, I now face another bill for $6000. I have since left their policy. This has been my worst insurance experience ever. I strongly advise avoiding this provider.

Disappointing Coverage Experience

I underwent a medically necessary procedure and paid $2200 out of pocket, with the promise that the remaining costs would be covered. Months later, I received a bill for an additional $7000! After dealing with a kidney stone and visiting the ER, I am now facing another charge of $6000. I have left their policy as a result. This insurance has been the worst experience for me. I do not recommend it.

This review is aimed at those with high deductibles, not the lower-income bracket. Honestly, I have a strong dislike for most insurance companies, especially home and auto insurers. My health insurance has mostly been unused except for some surgeries and screenings. I'm in my fifties and have rarely been sick. I avoid smoking, alcohol, and caffeine, and I’m cautious about sugar. Since switching to this insurance provider, my monthly premium dropped significantly, allowing me to choose a comprehensive plan that suits my needs. I appreciate the representatives who have actively assisted me in clarifying my coverage and resolving billing issues. It’s essential to be proactive about your health insurance and finances. If you manage your money wisely, you can navigate these challenges effectively. I have had a positive experience overall and believe this provider offers valuable service.

Rude Representatives and Poor Service

The representatives are extremely rude and lack understanding of how dental insurance works. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me. They often promise to reprocess claims but fail to deliver, consistently providing misleading information. This has been one of the worst insurance plans I've dealt with.

I've experienced disconnections during calls and received no response to messages. If there were a better option, I would leave them immediately.

This has been the worst health insurance I’ve encountered. I felt misled into acquiring this policy, which is not compliant with major medical insurance standards. While my coverage was limited, it was affordable and met my needs as a single individual without employer-provided insurance.
