If you are willing to go through the pain of doing the packing and inventory yourself, then I can only recommend using VanOne for the rest of the moving process. We used them to move to southern Europe from the UK, and everything went according to plan. The communication with the company was excellent, the driver arrived on time and the process of clearing customs was 100% smooth. You will need to prepare the right documentation for the customs in advance, but we received very good support from the company in this respect. Our driver was very kind and helpful. The door-to-door service makes the process very reliable. The driving part is contracted out to other companies (at least it was in our case), but coordination seems to have been excellent.
Ruined all our furniture. Every item was scratched, broken or bent. Double walled boxes we had bought were all damaged. The driver couldn’t read FRAGILE as he didn’t speak English so just threw everything in the back of the lorry. The lorry was unloaded as it needed a service apparently then reloaded in such a state that nothing was secured. Lorry was damp and filthy. When the 2 fag smoking Bulgarians turned up with the filthy van we did wonder if we would ever see our belongings again. I actually wish I hadn’t as I burst into tears when I saw the state of our worldly goods. No apology received and the fact that they think you can treat peoples belongings in this way speaks volumes. Use a reputable company not this shower or degenerates, who also tried to blackmail us and also don’t take credit card payments, funny that!Love the reply! Have photos to prove but cannot download. The only “smugglers” are the ones with the removal van obviously.
I used VanOne to help my sister move house from Holland to the UK. From the start they could not have been more helpful with all aspects of the move - esp the Logistics office team, helping inform us of the import process and paperwork required, and answering our millions of questions. Trustworthy, transparent and efficient. I had to manage my move remotely (UK > Spain). Their very own Customer Portal made it easy to prep all documents for clearance. For any additional questions Lennart and Leona were there to help, who due to the nature of my move, I was in constant communication with. The pickup date was scheduled in advance, and the delivery was confirmed the day the van passed the border within 2,5 days later. All my things arrived safe and sound just as planned. Their driver was super nice. No scratches, no bumps. Apart from their unbeatable price, I'd recommend VanOne just for their excellent service as an International Moving Company. Thank you VanOne!
I definitely recommend VanOne as removal service. I moved from the NL to Italy. I was a bit concerned about it because I’ve seen some bad reviews but really I can’t find anything negative. Driver arrived perfectly on time , he was very nice to help me collecting everything (Rafal) . Perfect and quick communication with Leona, she was always available to help me with everything I needed. Driver also arrived perfectly on time at the delivery address! I’ve riceived a message and a call a couple of hours before the delivery time. I will use again VanOne as removal service. They really take care of your goods! Thank you again!
Moving can be stressful but not when doing it with VanOne, the logistics team (shout out here to Lennart and Leona) were excellent from start to finish. The price was clear and fair. We had a problem with Swiss customs but the team took the problem on and helped resolve it. Also a shout to Alexander the driver, very polite and a great help loading.
Couldn't be more happy with the service provided, got super fast replies from the team at VanOne and everything felt very professional and organized.The driver Krzysztof was very helpful and kind, he spoke a bit of English but when we struggled we used Google translate so all was fine. The communication with his manager was immaculate - I recieved a phonecall to let me know where the van was the day after pickup and the estimated time frame according to that. When I missed the call on the day before the delivery I got a text message confirming the location of the van and the correct time for delivery. Van picked up my things at 4pm Thursday in Stockholm, Sweden and arrived near Cambridge, UK at 9am Sunday morning. Nothing broken and all still packed the same way as when he left. Nothing but good things to say about this service!
