Complete scam, charged £17.85 for a worthless vehicle report that falsely indicated my road tax was paid and everything was fine. I drove my car for a whole month thinking I had settled the road tax until I received a reminder from the tax department. After contacting the relevant authority, I discovered that it wasn't a government site but a total fraud. Now, there's an additional charge of £7.99 pending from my account for this deceptive website. There’s no contact number or any way to reach them on the site or via email. It closely resembles the official government website, which can easily mislead people. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Shame on the platform for allowing such scams.
GOOGLE ARE THE BIGGEST CROOKS HERE. This website charges you for a service which is from from the government, so it's dodgy, but not in itself a scam. The website is deliberately misleading though, looking like a gov.uk site, and suggesting you are paying for tax until it is too late. GOOGLE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO RECOMMEND SPONSORED SITES IN RESPONSE TO GOV.UK SEARCHES. What I don't yet know, is whether this company are scammers who are now going to do of my card.
Unfortunately my partner got sent to this website when doing our car tax online. After he had made the £17 payment , he said it didn’t seem right, I checked the reviews of the website and seen all these ones. We have contacted our bank straight away to put a claim in.
Cant put 0 or I would. A scam website which came up as sponsored through google when I out in Gov.UK vehicle tax. Charged £17.85 for a report to tell me my car want taxed. Checking a d/d hasn’t been set up and reporting to my bank as a scam and looking for a refund. Google should not allow this to appear. Be careful!!
Total scam. Like others thought I was paying for road tax...as that is what it leads you to believe. Rang bank to see if anything I can do and found they had set up a direct debit too. Ive emailed requesting a refund but so far no response. Next week will ask bank to dispute for me.
Total fraud, took £17.85 for some stupid useless vehicle report and showed as my road tax is paid and I’m good to go, I literally driven my car a whole month like that assuming I have paid the road tax until I get the reminder letter from the tax department. I called the DVLA and came to know that it was not the government website it’s a total scam. And now a payment of £7.99 is pending from my account for this fraudulent website saying vehicledebit.co.uk . There’s no contact number or other means of contact at all on the web page or their email. It looks just like the actual gov.uk website that anyone can get confused. Very frustrating and disappointing. Shame on google who’s allowing them. Fooling people
Can't give a zero. This company must be paying absolutely loads of money to be sited about the Gov. UK search engine. I inadvertently clicked on them to pay my car tax. I was alerted when I was only charged 50p instead of the full car tax. Apparently they dupe you into a subscription to provide you with information you already have. Please be vigilant when paying your car tax via the website. They should not be allowed to operate. Ive cancelled the subscription, but doubt I will get my money back.
Complete scam. Somehow ended up here after searching for gov uk vehicle-tax on Google, I even accessed the gov.uk website immediately before I somehow ended up here (Chrome history backs this up). It's set-up to make it look like you're paying vehicle tax through the government website, but they just give you a vehicle report and end up taking money out of your account monthly.
Exactly as others have reported. They intend to dupe you into thinking you're taxing your vehicle. Vile people running this scam. I'm a great believer in Karma and hope they get shafted in life, as I'm sure they will.. Looking at you, Joshua Hitchings with your '5-star review' 👍
