I have just purchased a roof top tent and annex from Ventura tents . As yet i have only checked out the tent but first impressions are great looks well made .I had a few questions before and after buying the tent all of these were answered by charlotte ( customer services ) in a very professional way with lots of detail and fantastic advice . We are looking forward to getting the tent mounted to are truck and making some memories .
Ventura delivered on time. The tent was well packaged. All of the parts were present and correct and despite a bit of user error not reading the instructions properly, putting it all together was a doddle. Everything fits to perfection and the tent seems to be manufactured extremely well. They've thought of everything, so impressed with how it all fits together even down to the way the tent cover fits perfectly and is completely water tight with zip and integral runner, even including extra space for the ladder on top. A huge amount of quality for the money. The awning is more spacious than expected and completely integral with a zip in ground sheet. Brilliant. We havnt used it to camp yet due to bad weather at weekends but it has been left out in rain and a considerable wind over night and weathered well with no leaking. We found it tricky to screw the tent in place on the roofbars but that is more becuase our vehicle also has parallel bars as well as bars accross the roof so it made it tricky to get your hand in to screw the bolts in to place. Not a complaint or Ventura's problem... More of a tip to make provisions for this/allow extra time, before you fit, if you also have the parallel bars. Had to ring Ventura becuase of a silly user error and can't fault the response. Called back within minutes, solved our problem and have been in touch since to see how we are getting on. Brilliant service, staff and product. Can't wait to take it camping.
Ordered roof tent on a Friday and delivered on the following Monday. Tent arrived and had some minor cosmetic damage due to transportation although nothing that would affect the use of the tent.Spoke to William and he would of happily replaced however rather than the hassle I accepted his offer of an anti-condensation mat. William was great to deal with and I am really impressed with the quality of the tent. I went to fit tent to car and unfortunately the rear roof bars were too narrow for the roof tent fitting rails .Another phone call to William advice given that I could move the existing rail by drilling new holes. I asked if he could provide further rails to enable me to fit so in essence I have four rails extra support and he agreed charging only postage .Both anti-condensation mat and rails arrived . Thanks to both William and Charlotte for quick communication excellent advice and a great product with a market leading 2 year warranty. I have fitted new rails and now fits car. Cannot wait to use tent in spring. Thanks VENTURA TENTS definitely will recommend you.
Excellent Customer Service!We purchased a roof tent and awning can't wait to get out and use it!We weren't quite sure what we wanted and after a couple of phone calls and a visit to the showroom, a decision was made. We received good honest advice and always with a friendly smile. We were kept updated during the waiting time for delivery, and the fitting service was so helpful. We have a few more alterations to make on our vehicle before it's ready to go camping in, but we have many trips planned for the spring.Highly recommend Ventura Roof Tents.
After reading positive reviews we placed an order. Very shortly afterwards we received an email. Because of various issues that the company were experiencing we were advised that our order would be delayed, which meant that we had to cancel our holiday. However we were offered various camping equipment free with our delivery as an apology and asked if we could bare with them until our tent was ready. We agreed with this. Our tent arrived and set it up and all was fine. However there was no sign of any of the free camping equipment we were promised. Sent a couple of emails which received no response. Very disappointed as we had to cancel our trip, the first we would have been on since 2019. Also the tent arrived with minimal packaging, one layer of cardboard. Unfortunately the underside had a massive scar right across it. It didn't affect the use of the tent but packaging needs to be improved, as fo their promises of free camping equipment.
