The order is still suspended and Vinted doesn't provide any update.

Jeans arrived with alterations to the waistband, losing about an inch in size, and no longer fitting a 36" waist. They were marketed as a 36-inch waist but now measure closer to 35 inches. I requested a return based on this issue. The platform responded, stating that since the label indicates a 36-inch waist, the item isn't eligible for a refund. I clearly explained the jeans had been altered, which is evident upon examining the waistband seam. I provided photos and measurements confirming the discrepancy. My partner, who has a fashion background, was equally shocked by this response. The alteration is clear and affects both the fit and value of the jeans. Due to this experience, I will choose to shop with small businesses moving forward, where professionalism and customer care are prioritized. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and their handling of the situation shows a lack of regard for customers. I will be closing my account.

Buyers Left Unprotected and Deceived

Customers are not safeguarded when purchasing items that don’t match the seller's description. You end up wasting time and energy, with expenses for return shipping coming out of your own pocket! This policy is completely unacceptable and unfair. Sellers should be held accountable in these cases, but it seems easier for the platform to make buyers bear the return costs or keep flawed items at full price. It's outrageous, especially considering the fees collected. The platform's policy supports poor seller practices. Therefore, I find it untrustworthy.
