I took my car to the 1711 West League City Parkway, League City, TX location nine weeks ago for an oil change and ever since, my car has been leaking oil. I took it back the first time within two weeks and they had to add several liters of oil because it had lost so much. I've taken it back up there twice total and I had to file a claim to which the area manager, Cameron flat out lied and said that this was being taken care of and he had spoken to me. I had never heard his name until the customer service rep told me when I had to call because no one had reached out to me in over eight days after I filed the claim. I then find out 2/20/26 that the manager of the League City location, Billy, declined my claim saying my car was leaking when I took it in for the original oil change ~ so if that is the case, why did they agree to try to fix it twice after the original oil change? Because IT WAS NOT LEAKING PRIOR. I went up there on 2/20 to get my money back and when I left, I told Billy this would not be the end of this and I would be contacting the corporate office to which he replied "good luck with that". This place has to be held accountable when they cause damage to people's car during an oil change. I want my car fixed and I'm having to get my attorney involved which will cost Valvoline a whole lot more than fixing what they broke. The manager wasn't even there the second time I took my car back because he was at someone's house fixing their car!!!! They declined my claim clearly because they don't know how to fix what they did. Stay away from Valvoline altogether. Just getting your money back is an act of God and getting your car fixed is impossible.
I relied on this service for many years, but recently I've encountered numerous issues. Each visit resulted in mistakes, leaving a mess under my vehicle, and they often neglected to grease the chassis. When I inquired, they mentioned they didn't even have a grease gun—how can one service a chassis without it? When I reached out to customer support, their advice was to find another place for oil changes.
After inquiring about a price yesterday, I visited the location today only to be informed that the oil + filter change I ordered was unavailable. They did not clarify whether it was the service, oil, or filter that was the issue. When I asked about availability, I received no response. This feels like a scam to push more expensive services. Totally unacceptable.
I went for an oil change yesterday at a newly renovated location. The team was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions. The manager even introduced himself and offered assistance. I’d rate this experience a perfect 10 and highly recommend checking them out!
I had a 50% off coupon and decided to try this new business. They removed my back windshield wiper for replacement, but then most staff left without communicating. They upsold me on services totaling $169.98, and the employee who checked me out had no information about my wiper. I had to return multiple times for unresolved issues. My initial discount was not honored, and I ended up feeling cheated. This was my first and last visit.
I’ve visited this service twice. The first visit was fine, but during my recent oil change and tire rotation, I paid nearly $200. They failed to inflate all my tires and didn’t top off the fluids. A week later, my tire pressure light came on, and I found I was out of windshield wiper fluid. The staff at this location seem indifferent towards customer care. For the price I paid, I expected all included services. I won’t return.
This new location has been a disappointment. I previously trusted them with my cars, but I discovered they put the wrong oil in one of my vehicles. Fortunately, no work was done, but I’m concerned about their ability to perform basic maintenance. The manager even mentioned they received instructions to avoid certain oil changes due to not meeting specifications. I won’t return.
I had a terrible experience. A long-time customer of Valvoline, I found that their maintenance practices have caused significant issues in a vehicle I've serviced with them. Their staff seemed inexperienced, leading to damage that could have been avoided. Despite reaching out to corporate, they refused to take responsibility. I will be escalating this further.
