Cars are terribly maintained , they will be lucky to get a oil change or filters, we rented from them 4 times in total and today will be the last, each time we took a car for rent it's a gamble if the car will survive without needing to go to the repair shop, our latest endeavour with them we were given a Ford mondeo instead of the Toyota we asked (previous renter wanted to extend the rental time, this wasn't the issue) after we recive our car and get going, a few day into our trip the car completely dies in the middle of the road leaving us to have the push the car by hand out of the middle of road (in a busy city center aswell mind you), when we collected the car, the guy handing us the key amd sorting the paper work told us that if anything happens to either call them and they'll bring a tow truck with a new car or to take it to a garage (how reassuring is that to hear) and they will reimburse us, we did the latter as we couldn't wait for a tow truck as we needed to get to a doctors appointment ( the garage said we needed a new alternator and battery which we paid for out of our own pocket totaling almost €400 including labour) on return of the car they refused to reimburse us for the battery as they claim it wasn't needed,on top of already being 30mins late for collection,not being happy that they hadn't followed through with their promises I asked to leave a complaint on the return document, the guy handing the return process was extremely rude to us and told us he would not give our deposit back if we left negative feedback on the form, at this point the guy also decided he was gonna charge €30 instead of the €20 stated in the documents . Not knowing how much more horse crap I can take from them I bit my teeth and took what little reimbursement they offered (im still out €125) and my deposit to not miss my flight.After one deceptively good experience the rest fail to even meet the bare minimum expected. Do not rent from them.This would be a intresting company for VID in latvia to investigate (VID is the latvian equivalent of HMRC in the UK or the IRS in America)
