AVOID this SCAM!!!Booked FOUR times this summer, three of them gorgeous days and every flight was cancelled. We know the previous pilot for the area. They have confirmed Virgin have organised for one pilot across four counties!!! Of course one pilot can’t cope and so most flights are being cancelled. Virgin refuse to honour us with a refund. A joke!!!
We had an incredible hot air balloon ride from Bath with Nobby as our pilot. He was friendly,skilled,funny and made everyone feel safe and relaxed. The views were stunning, the flight was smooth, and the landing was perfect. Thanks, Nobby, for an unforgettable experience!
Third time lucky for us and it was up, up and away! A fantastic experience from start to finish. The pilot, Phil, and the ground crew, Steve and Keith were great people. A perfect day, where safety is paramount, hence the need to book a few times due to poor weather. The view was beautiful and we had a stunning sunrise, all captured by the crew camera. The flight was smooth, and Peter answered questions throughout. A celebratory drink after packing up as a team, was a nice extra. For us, it was definitely worth the wait. Don’t be put off by the sometimes long wait. Safety will always be a priority!
Okay so it did take us 2 years to finally do our balloon flight but you can't book the weather so that's perfectly understandable. Others on our flight did it on first time of booking so it is possible. Despite all that it's definitely worth the wait. An experience you'll never forget and will probably want to do again.
