We have a cruise booked with 24 people for our wedding in Italy. We have sailed with Virgin 3 times before, 2 of which in Rockstar suites.
We have had nothing but issue after issue with their customer service team. You get a different answer every time you call! Noe we have asked to add a 3rd person to an existing room and after an hour and a half in the phone we have got a yes and we asked for an email confirmation which we got. Now we just called to book it and they are saying it can’t be done!
We have about 150k worth of combined bookings and we have booked the flights for this additional person and we are stuck with no room for them now.
Great when you’re on the ship but customer service is inconsistent and some of the worst I’ve ever seen!!!
Richard Branson you should be embarrassed!!
Brilliant Lady does not have their act together! The staff is untrained & unprofessional. The food absolutely terrible. We went to all restaurants and the food there was somewhat better than The Galley but not much. We like the wrist band access and the shows were good.
I recently embarked on a cruise during a work trip to the Cayman Islands, enticed by the company's accolades and reputation as the top choice each year. I anticipated a premium experience, but instead encountered one of the worst value-for-quality ratios in cruising. I previously thought another line was at the bottom, but this company managed to lower the bar. 1. The Buffet System is Inefficient Unlike typical cruise lines, there is no standard buffet. Instead: • 5–6 small food stations • Each with separate queues and waits • Self-service is not allowed • Staff serves food while you wait with a buzzer for each item For instance, salad in one spot, oatmeal in another, drinks elsewhere — all separate lines. This setup is slow, cumbersome, and defeats the buffet concept. 2. Restaurant Reservations are a Challenge Trying to book restaurants in advance? Forget it. Everything was fully booked months prior to the cruise, and I was unable to secure reservations through the app. The only way I got in was by asking in person daily as a solo traveler, and they seated me with other solo guests. To be fair, the food in the restaurants was excellent, which is the one redeeming feature. 3. Poor Ship Design The interior design of this ship is quite poor: • No large theater for main entertainment as seen on other ships • Numerous small rooms instead of a few well-planned spaces • Navigation is illogical • You often cannot move forward or backward on the same deck and must go up and down repeatedly It feels more like a maze than a cruise ship. 4. Uninspired Staff Most staff appeared unmotivated and disinterested. They weren't rude, just not engaged, which detracted from the premium experience. 5. Good Parties but… While the parties were well-produced and of decent quality, if you're sailing from Miami seeking nightlife, it doesn't make sense — Miami Beach offers far better venues, DJs, and energy without the cruise cost. In summary, This is a subpar product for the price. The marketing hype does not align with the actual experience onboard. I regret choosing this company and won’t cruise with them again. The only positive was the food quality in the restaurants; everything else was disappointing. Not recommended!!
We recently took our first cruise and overall had a positive experience. The food was excellent, the ship was impeccably clean, and the staff consistently impressed us with their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine effort to create the best possible experience. We also enjoyed the ports we visited and appreciated the ample time allotted at each stop. It was refreshing not to be charged for every little thing on board; we loved many of the extras included in the cruise price. Although we paid a bit more than other options, it was worth it to avoid constant sales pitches. However, we found that the entertainment and nightlife fell short, especially for a cruise aimed at adults. While the individual performers were talented, the overall stage productions and creativity were not as high as we have seen on other cruise lines. Additionally, it was surprisingly hard to find a place to dance or enjoy late-night fun after about 11:30 p.m. The ship seemed to wind down early, and we were disappointed there wasn’t a dedicated dance club or late-night venue that remained lively into the night. These aspects were disappointing, but they didn’t ruin the trip. The highlight of the onboard entertainment was the “Red Night” party by the pool, which delivered the energy and atmosphere we expected from an adult-focused cruise, and we would have loved to see more events like that throughout the journey. As this was our first experience, it’s possible our expectations—shaped by the “adult cruise” branding—affected how we viewed certain aspects. In the end, we truly enjoyed our time with family, the ports we explored, the people we met, and the unique touches this cruise line brought to the experience. Now that we’ve had this experience, we’ll likely choose a different cruise line in the future that better aligns with our preferences. However, we’re glad we tried it and appreciated the new experience it provided.
This was our second sailing with the company, and it truly met all expectations once more. The ambiance was relaxed, enjoyable, and exceptionally well organized. The dining service was consistently impressive. Venues offered memorable experiences, with staff who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging. The bar also stood out, providing great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. The entertainment was a highlight. One performance brought high energy and kept everyone engaged, while another group delivered fantastic music with a warm, personal touch that made their shows feel unique. Overall, it was a delightful cruise with exceptional service, outstanding entertainment, and a crew that clearly cares.
The staff were not helpful at all and showed little interest in assisting customers. The drinks were overpriced, and the food was terrible. The entertainment seemed to cater to just one group. The seating in the smoking area was hard and uncomfortable. The casino felt designed for players to lose their money; I spent over $500 without any wins. I had hoped to enjoy this cruise based on past reviews, but it was challenging to keep myself entertained with only board games and video games for an entire week.
I selected this service anticipating a strictly adults-only atmosphere where onboard rules—particularly those affecting fellow guests—would be reliably enforced. Regrettably, this has not been our experience. Throughout our trip, guests in the adjacent cabin have repeatedly smoked cannabis on their terrace. The odor continuously wafts into our cabin and nearby outdoor spaces, making it impossible for us to enjoy our own terrace or even keep the balcony door open for fresh air. This has greatly diminished our comfort and our ability to utilize the cabin we paid for. We have reported this issue to the support team five times. While the guests in question deny their actions when confronted, the smell remains pervasive and unmistakable, and we have personally observed the behavior. Regardless of their denial, the disturbance to neighboring cabins persists. As I write this review, we are still onboard, and the same situation continues. Despite numerous reports, no effective action or resolution has been provided. As guests, we feel powerless while a clear violation of policy continues to disrupt our stay. An adults-only cruise should not imply that rules are optional or unenforceable—especially when one guest’s actions directly hinder another guest’s enjoyment of their private space. Being unable to use your terrace or ventilate your cabin due to ongoing breaches of policy is unacceptable on a premium cruise. I truly wanted to enjoy this experience, but the lack of accountability and guest support has overshadowed it. I sincerely hope this service reevaluates how it enforces its own rules, as without enforcement, those rules lose their significance.
One of the poorest customer service experiences I've encountered. Response times to emails are typically over ten days, with a lack of resolution and unanswered questions. There were issues with payment discrepancies, and they were unwilling to issue refunds for services canceled months prior. Now, I have to involve my credit card company to reclaim my money. Thankfully, the cruises themselves are better than their Sailor Services.

This was my first time on a cruise as a passenger, and I must say it was incredible! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the journey. Embarking and disembarking from the ship was quick and easy! The wristbands were a fantastic idea. My balcony room, complete with a hammock, was lovely for watching the ship sail away. Fellow passengers were friendly and ready to have a good time! The food was outstanding, and the shows were fantastic! If I could give it more stars, I would. I'm already looking to book another one!
