Turns out i AM another unhappy customer. I bought a bakfiets in november 2023. After less than a month, bikeseat start to break dealer said that propably i dont know how to use it, and they cannot do nothing. So i started collecting bruises and scratches, and be afraid of using my bike. As we all know, it was malfunction...
Then around october my bike start to act weard, it was really difficoult to drive it. Guess what- frame was broken! Then in november vouge start sending emails, that they found few issues. Bike is no longer safe to use. But be happy, only FEW WEEKS and it will be solved. 9 months!!! 9 months for a family of 4, who dont have a car its a lot of lost money and time. They did not give any solution, other bike nothing.
Bike was good for few months. And now november 2025, guess what. It is not working again. I went to dealer, who after 2 tries refused to help me. Why? Because when he asked vouge what he should do, they answer him (go thru evry part untill you find the issue). So more money lost.
Contacted vouge, of course they are very sorry. Of course.
Now yesterday my bike should be picked up, i took day off, because they cannot determine the time, and guess what? Nobody came.
Overall- customer service is a joke. Not existing at all. Dealers do not want to work with this brand. So what else we can do?maybe it time for class action lawsuit?

never buy Vogue absolutely unacceptable communication ... shortly after purchasing an electric bike (bakfietsjourney) they issued a statement that the bikes are defective and not recommended for riding ... the bike design causes other problems with the wheels etc. after a few months my seat broke and the rear wheel was damaged ... at least 10 spokes were broken ... after the repair it happened 2 more times ... then the wheel was replaced completely at my expense and it happened again despite the stronger spokes that can handle a much greater load ... the seller said that it was clearly due to the defective design of the bike and Vogue is giving away the bike - he refers to the seller - the seller in turn to the Vogue dealer
Vogue is absolutely unwilling to solve this problem. At least other people who bought this bike are not riding it and have it parked in the garage due to Vogue's inability to resolve the situation or compensate....I note that they bought the bike from a different seller than me.
This case is currently being taken to civil court.
Never buy a Vogue bike if you want at least minimal service

An excellent bike for carrying up to 4 kids (ages 2 to 7). Great value for the price and, so far, no recalls.

I would give this company minus 5…

I would give this company minus 5 stars. Bought my daughter a bike and took it to a bike shop to be assembled. The guy at the shop said I shouldn't of paid anymore than £30 quid for the bike which cost £120. He told me it's a toy and not to be used outside as its a danger to my child and not built to an BS standard. Please look elsewhere for bikes for your children as these chinese imports are pure rubbish

Excellent bike only in the name

Excellent bike only in the name, battery got defective and died just after 1 year and I brought the bike to reseller for assistance. This was on july 14 and still no one knows if and when my bike will be ready, so almost 3 months. The vendor called vogue in front of me and they basically admit they ignored the request. When I will get my bike back I will trade it straight away and will sell my wife's Vogue as well so I will be sure she won't have the same experience

AWFUL! Very similarly to the review below (wish I could contact them!) the bike axle between the two wheels broke, thankfully without my son in (I was about to pick him up), but whilst I was on a residential road. I have now heard of 3 other people in the last month who this has happened to with these bikes. It is dangerous! The box is unattaching from the frame with no prior warning. Absolutely lethal. I have had very frustrating conversations from Vogue, who have refused any responsibility (though the bike is still listed on their website) and have most ignored me. Today i emailed saying someone else's bike had broken. The man told me 'It is absolutely not a dangerous bike, it is a steel frame and needs maitence'. - My bike was serviced regularly (as constantly had flat tyres, as mentioned by the below reviewer) and other issues.- It broke where you can not reach. It's the way it has been welded on. - These bikes will kill someone, and they seem to not be bothered at all. Despite the fact they are created to carry children.PLEASE report so these bikes are not on the streets. Truly terrifying. DO NOT buy these bikes.

I have had a Vogue Cargo bike for about…

I have had a Vogue Cargo bike for about 18 months. In the first year, I had many problems with the tires. I had several flat tires. So then I eventually decided to change them. The mechanic who changed the tires told me that the original tiles are very bad quality. Two months ago, one of the wheel broke. One month ago, the battery died. Today the axle between the two wheels broke while my kids were in the cargo bike, they were very afraid, my daughter was so traumatized that she cried for like 30 minutes. We were lucky that it happened on a bike lane (rather than on the road) and that no one got injured. I would absolute not recommend anyone to buy that bike, in particular for safety issues.

Vogue electric bakfiets motor issues

I have a vogue electric bakfiets under warranty. I moved cities. Now the bike motor is giving issues. When I contact dealers they say , they can't help. They can't even order a motor for me since the waiting time is. 2-3 months. Will not recommend a vogue bike.

I purchased a Vogue Trivelo bike…

I purchased a Vogue Trivelo bike through BOL through their partner Fietsweb. The bike had faults from the day it was delivered. Initially Fietsweb were helpful in sorting out the problems, bit issues still existed with the electric assist constantly switching itself off . I have contacted BOL every day since 13 September who in turn contacted Fietsweb who in turn promised to collect the bike for a refund. This has never happened and the matter has been escalated to BOL head office . All this time I have a faulty bike and no refund. I sincerely thought I had more protection buying a product through BOL and that the partner would do everything in their power to honour the terms of the gaurantee which I may add I had to pay an extra 100 Euro for them to assemble or there would be no gaurantee. Needless to say I'm extremely unhappy with Fietsweb and dissapointed that BOL has still not resolved this matter .
