Everyone I met from VSF, from the original assessment and quote, the visit to get detailed measurements for the manufacture of the roof, doors and windows; the office staff to the fitters who competed the work were very professional helpful and polite. The fitters worked very hard, completed the work in one day to a very good standard. I am very pleased with the result.
They have a very well worked out process and product to enable them to remove and replace an asbestos cement roof on a Marley garage in one day. Its smart and well designed. The onsite installers were efficient and helpful. Unfortunately checking afterwards I found some damage to the concrete beams, old brackets were left on and debris not totally cleaned up. The after installation quality control inspector agreed and said it would be rectified for which I am waiting.
Alan and Connor came to remove the asbestos and replace our garage roof. They were punctual, polite and hardworking. Any questions we had were promptly and thoroughly answered and we were exceptionally pleased with the results. We highly recommend these two and would have no hesitation in using them again, first class service, thank you so much.
Had 2 guys do my replacement garage roof today. They worked their gonads off and done a fantastic job. Good advise from fitters and they were very professional. They even put my light fixtures back up and made my garage look tidy. Would recommend these guys :)
It's very expensive, everything is these days. It was booked in, & guys turned up & couldn't do it. 😕 A week later as rearranged two guys came who were brilliant. Polite, friendly, & got on with the job. A job well done to a very good standard. A long day for them, but cleaned up & removed all rubbish.
There are quite a few garage roofing companies out there so it isn't easy to choose a contractor. We chose VSF because, unlike some companies, they actually send someone to look at the job as opposed to using aerial pictures. We knew from the start exactly what the job would entail and were given an accurate quote. Once the quote was accepted, a surveyor came to measure up accurately before the materials were ordered and he was also very knowledgeable and informative. Finally the job itself. Tim arrived on time, with his son to assist. After a long spell of dry weather, the day started with rain but Tim produced a large tarpaulin which was used to cover the contents of the garage before commencement of work. They suited up to remove the old asbestos roof safely, removed an upstand of bricks to ensure a neat, flat job and added a joist before installing the new roof and fascias etc. They did an excellent job, the garage looks a great deal better and most importantly it hasn't leaked in any of the downpours we have had since. I would highly recommend them.
