Avoid this builder at all costs.We sold our existing house and purchased a new-build property at Garrett Hall Fields with Elan Homes. At the time of purchase, they confirmed a completion date of end of November 2025, with a clearly stated long-stop date of 31 January 2026.Despite this, we are still waiting for completion and have been given no clear date. As a result, we are now facing the very real risk of being left homeless, purely due to their delays and poor planning.Communication has been extremely poor throughout. They fail to understand basic contractual commitments, are not punctual, and provide vague or inconsistent updates. There is no sense of responsibility or urgency, despite the serious impact this situation has on our family.This experience has been deeply distressing and disappointing. I would strongly advise others to avoid this builder and consider developers with a more reliable track record and better customer care.
Extremely unprofessional builder. The completion has already been delayed by two months, and they have now missed the long-stop date. Despite this, they are attempting to justify the delay by blaming “bad weather,”.The purpose of a long-stop date is to allow for unforeseen circumstances, yet they have exceeded this deadline and are still offering excuses rather than accountability. Very disappointing experience.
Myself and my wife were first time buyers so we didn’t have much of an idea about the home buying process. Rosie was really helpful and has been clear and proactive with her communication throughout the whole time. Would recommend!

We moved into our new apartment at the Sidings, Lichfield in September. We love living here and of course some things have needed attention during this intial period. The customer care team appreciates this and is very keen to help us enjoy our new property to the full. Consequently they deal with our problems immediately and the companies they use for repairs etc are obviously well-chosen. At Christmas a dozen of us on this new development met for mulled wine and mince pies. Everyone expressed their appreciation of customer care and the manner in which problems are sorted!
