These guys are the real deal. My experience with Web Design Torque has been nothing but fantastic. Aaron and Peter have done an excellent job with my website. They are very responsive and ready to answer questions. I would definitely use them again.
At first it all started well. Then after a few days they sent me a couple mockups pretty much cut and paste. I picked one and scheduled a one on one with there "team lead". Their team lead started talking about the layout and then asked me for my domain license. I told him I got one thru a third party like everyone else does. He said that wouldn't work and that google would blacklist my website. He's gave me a price I needed to pay to buy a license for $3999. I told him that's absurd and that we needed to end the meeting and hold off on the project while I did some research and asked to reschedule the meeting. He said I needed to but my domain and not lease it. After doing research I asked the sales guy who would i be making payment too and he said ICANN. ICANN Does not sell or take payments for domains. I called 3 other website designers as well as Google and my domain registrar and shared my video recorded convo with webdsign and they said that was insane and to stay away from people doing business like that. I asked for a refund and I was haggle by their "compliance team member" I told him I would simply contact my Credit card company and report them for fraud shortly after they posted a refund. There website says 100% money back gaurentee so I don't know why he haggle me.
Web design torque made the process of creating my new website easy and affordable. They continuously help me as I have questions along the way. Additionally, I get new subscribers every single day with the SEO that they've created for me. Five stars!
I am providing this review prior to reviewing my final design product, at Gerry's request. This evaluation is based solely on my experience, not the final product. My collaboration with Web Design Toque began over a month ago, with the goal of creating a website for my new business. Initially, I worked with Ryan, who outlined their workflow. After signing up, I was transferred to another Ryan, then to another team member, and eventually to Gerry. Gerry oversaw the website layout process. In hindsight, I wish I had conducted more in-depth research on the technical aspects before partnering with them. On several occasions, I felt uncertain about the discussions and encountered unforeseen costs for necessary purchases. I lacked a comprehensive understanding of the overall cost implications. I appreciate Gerry's work on my website, which turned out well. Although I had to engage a friend to help me find more cost-effective solutions, the outcome was ultimately satisfactory. This experience has highlighted the importance of conducting thorough research on all necessary components.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Torque Design Group and strongly advise others to be cautious when considering their services. Initially, they seemed professional, but their behavior quickly revealed otherwise.When I informed them that I would be purchasing my domain and hosting independently, they became extremely uncooperative. Their communication was rude and unprofessional, and they refused to provide the necessary guidance for my website setup. Worse still, they repeatedly called me, speaking in an offensive and aggressive manner. Shockingly, their remarks included derogatory comments about my religion — something no professional service should ever condone.To make matters worse, they even suggested that I fabricate positive reviews for my business using fake testimonials from family and friends. This highly unethical advice speaks volumes about their own integrity. Based on this, I would strongly caution readers to not be deceived by their 5-star reviews, which are likely fabricated as well.I have recordings of these calls as evidence of their behavior, which I would be willing to share if needed. Such disrespect, dishonesty, and lack of professionalism are completely unacceptable.If you are looking for a reliable web design or hosting service, I strongly recommend seeking alternatives. There are far better companies that will treat you with respect, provide proper support, and operate with integrity.They absolutely lieThey are still th same people they tried hard to delete an report my review but since they could not find a way they are saying they took over the company last month. I really wanted to thank the guys over at Web Design Torque for the awesome experience with building a website. They were patient with me and fulfilled all my needs as soon as they could.
