Was sent an item a Blu-ray steelbook it was supposed to be 4k uhd 😏 it was not what was in the packaging when recieved I tried to return it for a refund to my local cex store in Edinburgh it was suggested to me that I may have swapped the discs as it was just a standard Blu-ray 😮💨 so no refund given ? I was told to contact customer service but with previous experiences from customer service I never bothered as I was completely shocked I will be more cautious buying from cex in future purchases
I recently ordered a book form the online store, discription and qualiy of the produce was accurate, it arrived within estimated time frame via postal service, the book was extremly well packaged well done for that great job, very happy with this service would use again.
I’ve tried to by an iPhone 13 Pro from CEX to replace me old phone. The first one I got had issues with the screen it would flicker and then the second one would keep telling me I have no sim installed or it’s invalid then 5 mins later it would work the quality of the phones from CEX is appalling.
Picked up a pre-owned device recently and the grading was spot on. It works perfectly and arrived much sooner than I expected. Having the 24-month warranty included is a huge plus for peace of mind when buying second-hand. Very satisfied with the service!
Bought a HDD from CEX assuming they'd run in the least free program tests before selling.
Within 30 minutes of plugging it in discovered it has several faults and its recommended to back up and replace immediately.
I expected better.
I'm going to give a fair review as I bought a phone in yesterday to trade it in in the drop and go service I also had a phone put back so I could exchange it for the upgrade.
The drop and go system was great the guy looked at my phone and valued it within 30 minutes so that wasn't bad the downside was....
The Phone I was looking at was filthy dirty had food stains all over it and no battery so you couldn't even load up to check to see what the actual Phone was like and then when he wouldn't let me hold it in the shop I noticed there was several scratches all over the screen now it was supposed to be a B grade so I was sadly disappointed.
The phone I had traded in was immaculate it had always been in the case since I purchased it no scratches or anything so I expected to get at least a phone not exact but similar.
Now they have none on the website I can even order and I am now stuck with no phone and a voucher even though I know the voucher doesn't run out for 100 years is not the point I cannot transfer my banking apps onto the phone I am using because it's not an iPhone so I am now lost.
Why say the phones are B great if they're not they're not even the fair condition.... deeply disappointed and now I'm stuck in limbo keep checking your site to see if you have any of the phones but nothing so good on one respect but badly let down on trying to buy a phone...
Thank you for your reply yes I have clicked notify me on six different phones but I only wanted A great it's just a shame cause I'm now stuck using a phone it's well inferior to the one I've just sold you .. it's just a basic answer so I'm now stuck ... I'm not sure I would trade a Phone in again this was the first and the last time. But I couldn't understand is because I put the phone behind to view it surely when they were assessing my phone I bought and they could've charged the other one up so I could at least had a proper look at it instead of giving me it with a dead battery and it could've at least cleaned the phone off of the food and dirt I was quite disappointed it seemed a bit disorganised in the shop and I think that was the major issue they need to employ someone just to go round and clean the shelves off and take the dust off of the products in the store because it does help to keep things cleaner especially when you're trying to buy a buy a phone that's over £700 you don't expect it to be full of grime
Both online and in my local shop in Tooting, I was impressed by the polite service and also the detailed explanations given and these guys are so resilient too in the short period of time I’ve been dealing with CEX.
Keep up the good work.
Website and delivery process is easy and quick.
I used to use Cex alot but now with the obscene delivery charges it can be cheaper going somewhere else when your only option is delivery when you are a rural customer.
