Arranged a price (terrible price but hey ho) arranged a collection three or four days later -cancelled due to "the van needed an MOT!" re arranged for the next week, I sat in waiting on a txt from the courier , nothing so I phoned (10 30 )by this time " oh sorry the driver phoned in sick, phone this number to arrange a new date!" Mathew phoned me to apologise " I was on holiday so stuff slipped a bit" we arranged another collection date A WEEK AND A HALF later! I sold the bike to Sykes Harley Davidson over the phone- they paid in less than a day and the bike was picked up the day after ......enough said, except I bet this review does not end up being published!
I received the quotation price and within minutes was called. I had a quick chat and agreed a callback in 5 days time to discuss further. Next morning 1 text and a missed call with voicemail. Clearly they do business like the old "hard sell" car sales where they try to wear you down. I responded to their text instructing them not to call or text and received an acknowledgement of the text. 3 hours later another call (blocked) and voicemail.The quote was poor, even giving the fact they have expenses, profit and VAT to add when selling.
The valuation was excellent, the phone service was excellent with pleasant staff, they were patient and honoured their quote while I removed my private plate with DVLA , when steve came to collect he was professional, polite and quite chatty, putting me at ease while selling my beloved bike. Excellent service and recommended. Thank you.
