Review Time
STILL no change in my listing. I have tried numerous times to update, and waited... Haven't lived at that address for over 10 years! They have also ignored every attempt to have the listing for my brother removed. He died 7 years ago now, and I remember even providing a link to his obituary as proof....
I acquired their services in August 2024. The reason is because I was looking for an accurate address for someone out of state.I am a victim of SCAM,I paid the fee of $11.99 to acquire the address for the individual in Alabama. I filed charges in Civil District Court. Since she was out of state I had to have the Secretary of the Commonwealth send notice for court.It had to be certified mail 📬.The address used was what was provided by The White Pages.Court date was 9/30/24, she was a no show.The judge awarded a judgement put against her.A few days later I received the certified mail back.The information given to me by the White Pages was INCORRECT. I reached out to the White Pages to see if I could get a full refund. Their response was unfortunately no credit will be given because it has been over 30 days.When you are dealing with court and the Commonwealth it takes time.I wasn't to happy about their reply. So that is why I am doing a review. The star is there because I couldn't use anything else like a ZERO.For future reference I will never use their service again.Word of mouth goes a long way. As a company who services many, the core value is without consumers, businesses, customers, companies etc, your company would cease to EXIST.
I found my listing on White Pages, but it is full of errors about where I live/lived, relatives, etc. They give out false info and getting thru to customer service if you are a "Premium Member" is not possible. This site is one big mess with mistakes and me and, no doubt, on many, many others.
Whitepages sent me several emails claiming a person I was keeping in touch with had a property change. I paid the monthly fee to access the change only to find out there was none. Far as I can make out, there is no customer service. So I can't even ask for my money back. Ripoff.
Don't waste money advertising here, they just litter in your driveway when they "deliver" phonebooks. Pathetic thing is we have a letter box not 2 steps from where they threw the phonebook on the ground! Must take too much effort get their lazy fat @r$e out of the car to place it in the letterbox as opposed to illegally littering!
Appears to be scamming people. They claim information is provided for a fee. You pay the fee and useless information is provided. It does not appear they use funds provided to update their information from the last paper phonebook published in the early 2000’s. I have no idea what they do with their revenue. Business development budget appears to be $0.00
Really a waste of money. I only used the one time payment, so it's only $12 or so, but I was looking for a cell number. Of the four options provided, three were out of commission and the fourth was a completely arbitrary number to a person who apparently was just pulled out of a hat.
Add my review to the mix of many 1 star reviews. This site rarely has the correct information... and they want you to pay for it! They have 'current' addresses for people who haven't lived at that particular address for 20 years!
