Review Time
For the price of only one dollar, I found out how untrustworthy Whitepages really is. They loured me into a 5-day trial for a buck. The information I received after purchasing a subscription wasn't any different from what I saw on their free site. All I was seeking was one email address. I could not gain the email address information without shelling out more money. I promptly cancelled my subscription and demanded a refund. Stay far away from these crooks!
Patently FALSE informationPatently FALSE information, seriously outdated and erroneous reports and ILLEGAL and unlawful use of privately held Trust information. Literally non existent "Customer Service" who no matter how many times you contact them or provide Court Documents to in order to correct their error, provide ZERO response. Biggest SCAMMER Website that entices people with lies about their services and policies. Utter & complete RUBBISH.
Bait n switch operation. I had actually used them successfully once before to track down an old college buddy, but in the last couple months they started sending email notices like Criminal Update (with my friend’s full name and middle initial) so I paid the one-time $19.95 to check it out. They apparently mixed into that report some other guy with a different middle initial. What a scam!! Classic Bait n Switch!! But their online customer service only has tables of standard questions, no complaint resolution. So my opinion of the company went to hell. Had to call my bank to report the fraud.
I receive a lot of spam as White Pages have incorrectly listed my email address as someone else's. I requested they remove it, and they said: "We cannot remove just an email address we are only able to remove an entire listing, however, if the listing consisting of the email address is not under your name, we are unable to remove such listing".So they are happy knowing they have incorrect listings but can't be bothered to do anything about it. I can't see why anyone would pay to access a knowingly incorrect database.
