Absolutely AppallingFollowing a recent flooring installation, my skirting boards and walls were left visibly damaged, far beyond what could reasonably be described as “expected scuffs.” A stain was also discovered in the carpet immediately after fitting. Despite raising these issues straight away and repeatedly requesting an in-person inspection, no one has attended to assess the damage. I’ve not even had a phone call apology. Just clinical emails. Instead, responsibility has deflected to the fitter, even though the company sent me the fitter, and I was told to wait for the manufacturer’s opinion rather than having the issue properly inspected on site.The customer service has been just as disappointing as the workmanship. Communication has been slow, issues have been brushed aside, and I was later informed that additional charges would apply for work that was not clearly explained at the point of sale. Even basic items included in my original quote, such as thresholds, remain outstanding. I am deeply unhappy with how this has been handled and would strongly caution others before using this company
update from previous reveiw.after several weeks i finally received my new carpet.however i was told the prtice for fitting would be the same as before when i placed the order for the new carpetbut when they came there was an extra £28 to pay i was not best pleasd as i have already paid near enough £700 over the original outgoing.heres the kicker though,this new and different carpet has flaws as well.i haven't bothered with the comany as i can't afford to.i can't even hide the flaw as it's where we walk.if someone from the company reads this they are MORE than welcome to come take pictures. very dissapointed and skint
Popped into Wilson Carpets on Saturday in Arnold and explained I needed a carpet that same day. The guy who helped me was amazing – showed me what was available straight away, and within 20 minutes I had the carpet in my car! The service was honestly fantastic – super friendly, quick, and really helpful. The carpet quality is great too. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!
Good selection of carpets and easy enough to order, sadly let down by the experience of having it fitted!Was told the van would be loaded at 9am and I'd then be given a time for the fitting. On the morning I was told of a delay with another job. Heard no more until they arrived later in the afternoon. The older guy was very unpleasant and clearly didn't want to be here. He rushed the job and even though we paid £25 to have the door planed, all he did was chop some off the bottom - disgraceful! Door wasn't put back on properly and had to do some DIY to fix it, which just shouldn't happen when paying extra, very disappointing. I don't want to hear any excuses as you're responsible for the fitters whether you admit it or notEDIT:I did not receive any email "Optional Fitting Information" but regardless, whether they're sole traders or not, you should take care with who you're working with and unfortunately this one wasn't suitable. It doesn't look like I'm the first person to say this either!
