It's always interesting and exciting when a box of beer appears. The supporting snacks and literature help complete the package.
Customer service is excellent. Good delivery information, and if you call them, they answer reasonably quickly. As a native English speaker, I can easily understand the person on the other end.
I have been a customer for several years, and as long as the budget isn't too tight, I recommend Beer 52.
Excellent wines, often intriguing, at very good price. We look forward to the regular deliveries, well packaged, together with the magazine and little titbits. Highly recommended. Kaye is cheerful and fun to talk to on the phone!
Spoke to Lewis to cancel my subscription that I got through a voucher from a Ninja product purchase.
He told me about some discount vouchers I had that I wasn't aware of and I've kept my subscription for another cycle.
Was a pleasure dealing with him.
An interesting selection of beers provided and the background information both on the development of the craft beer sector and on the individual beers in each case made it an education as well as a pleasurable experience.
Downside? I tend to find beers that I like and then stick with them and I also prefer my beers in the dark/bitter/stout end of the spectrum.
I reached out to cancel my subscription due to changes in my financial circumstances. I spoke with a representative who was a pleasure to converse with. They reminded me that my original offer was still active, meaning I was overlooking the fantastic savings I had already secured. Additionally, they generously proposed a discount or free shipping on future orders to assist me, allowing me to continue enjoying the wonderful wines while alleviating some of the financial pressure.
Stay away from this service. I accepted their free wine offer in December, and three bottles ended up wasted. After sifting through a lot of unnecessary information, I discovered I needed to call to cancel. I called to cancel on January 4th, but then a £38 subscription charge appeared on the 10th. I called again to cancel my subscription, but they claimed it hadn't been canceled, despite me providing a screenshot of the call. They stated that the wine had already been sent again, so they wouldn’t refund me. I won’t let this issue go easily. They really seem to scam customers.
This was one of those " too good to be true" moments . Before Christmas had an offer pop up and thought would be a great Xmas present, not realising it was for a subscription!! After I realised I went to cancel , which I thought id done ( since been told I would have been only cancelling future emails ) and you have to call which I've done today .Now been told they can't do anything about the order already on its way .Explained first order was for a present and I do not drink alcohol Also that January very hard month and I've been left very short of money till pay day , I was basically told its tough .Discusting !!!
I'm honestly at a loss for words. I bought a case of wine before Christmas and somehow ended up signed up for monthly deliveries without my consent! The monthly cost is significantly higher than my initial order. I thought it might have been a misunderstanding on my part, so I attempted to cancel the unwanted subscription. It took forever to locate the cancellation process, and when I finally did, it kept trying to offer me new deals instead of letting me cancel. Eventually, I was given a phone number to call, which meant waiting on hold for an extended period. Even then, they continued to push yet another offer! I've finally managed to cancel, but this experience has left me very disappointed. I've rarely felt compelled to leave a negative review before.
We ordered 3 bottles of red wine before Christmas and received them shortly after placing the order. We thoroughly enjoyed the wines along with the snacks included. I've now decided to cancel as we aren't fans of subscription services. When I called, I spoke with a representative who was incredibly helpful and made the cancellation process smooth. Thank you!
I enjoyed the beers offered, but I've chosen not to continue. I had trouble canceling online and had to make a call, but the customer service was excellent once I reached a representative—very friendly and pleasant to interact with. They even provided special discounts to encourage me to stay, but I appreciated that they didn't pressure me when I declined. Definitely worth a try!
