Review Time
Over the course of close to a year I have had WOW and been using their provided modem/router combo (because according to them, my personal systems wouldn’t work with their service), I have had consistent issues. Frequent, daily Wi-Fi drops where it will go out for anywhere from 30 secs to a couple hours, multiple times a day. Terrible customer service that has been 0 help and has told me to just wait until it comes back online.
Even connecting to the router via Ethernet isn’t effective because it constantly cuts out. Not to mention I’m paying for the 1gbs unlimited plan and NEVER hit those speeds. Closest I get is 500mbs.
Unfortunately, my apartment complex signed a deal with them and I’m stuck with them as my only option here in E.L., Michigan.

This internet service provider sucks. The equipment sucks. The customer service sucks. Everything about them sucks. As I write this, have no service. My router and eero restart constantly about 10 to 15 times per day. We purposely only have 5 devices on the wifi at anytime cause its slow, and constantly restarting the router and eero. Switching tomorrow. This company has costed me 1k in hrs due to remote work. And they truly don't have a clue on how to provide customer service. Update on 1/8/2026. My internet is still out lol. Restarting. Wifi extender and router non stop Restarting. No fix.
Quit hanging the phone up on people!!! You can’t speak English or with a dialect that people can’t understand and so you hang up? Not ok as I see by the reviews. You guys need help but can start by telling those idiots to quit hanging up on people.
I received a message congratulating me that WOW internet has finally arrived in my area! But when I called the number provided, the operator told me that there is no WOW internet service in my area and started offering T-mobile or AT&T internet service!!!! Is everything okay with them?
I had a crew at my property installing a new fence and they accidentally cut through the Wowway cable that runs to my house. It was already after 4:00 pm when I called Wow, and James from Wowway sent a technician first thing the next morning. The technician (A Gaines) was here by 8:00 am and ran a completely new cable. I thought they could just splice the old cable, but he informed me that they do not splice cable. The new cable is double shielded unlike the old, single shielded cable, so it should hold up better and prevent interference better. Within about 30 minutes after his arrival, he had the new cable strung and connected and my internet and streaming were back up and running. The very next day at about 8:00 am, the Wowway guy who buries the cable was outside my house, and in no time, he had the new cable buried, run under my sidewalk, and connected again. I had minimal down time. Both technicians were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Great job, Wowway. I sincerely appreciate the quick response, and I highly recommend your service.
Look at your REVIEWS on here!! - Wow! You suck as a business!!83% say you don't even deserve ONE Star.I have never had a internet provider in past 25 years that was as unreliable as this Wow! Crap!!Your customer service agents are ill-manered. They try to talk over everything you have to say until you have to start yelling. They are probably doing it on purpose and get their entertainment from it. Sick people.
