Review Time
Having been a loyal customer for years and spending a considerable amount, my recent experience has drastically changed my view of the service. A mechanic replaced my rear brakes and was the last to handle my rear wheel. Recently, I faced a flat tire and found that one of the lug nuts was cross-threaded, making it impossible to remove the wheel. This is not typical wear and tear, but a result of poor installation. Despite this, the company charged me $150 for a 'warranty check.' They confirmed the issue but then refused to cover the cost of removing the damaged lug nut or refund the $150, despite the problem stemming from their previous service. It’s frustrating that they, the last to work on the wheel, refuse to take responsibility for the damage caused by their technician's oversight. Consequently, I am left with an unremovable flat tire and additional expenses due to their error. This experience reveals a troubling lack of accountability and customer support. Long-time customers should not have to struggle to address clear issues resulting from workmanship. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about using this service to reconsider, especially if complications arise—based on my experience, they may not uphold their commitments.
As a long-time customer who has spent a lot, this experience has drastically changed my view of the company. A mechanic replaced my rear brakes, the last to handle my rear wheel. Despite this, I was charged $150 for a warranty check, which confirmed the issue, yet they refused to cover the cost of removing the damaged lug nut or refund the $150. The company, the last to work on the wheel, is shirking responsibility for the damage caused by their technician. I am left with an unremovable flat tire and additional costs due to their error. This situation highlights a significant lack of accountability and customer care. Long-time customers should not have to fight to rectify clear workmanship issues. I would strongly caution anyone considering this service to think twice, especially if complications arise.
On 12/3, a technician sent by this service was highly unqualified and abandoned the job after disassembling parts of my vehicle. After a day of back-and-forth with customer service, they sent the same technician back on 12/4. He reassembled most parts but again left without completing the alternator change. I had to hire a qualified mobile mechanic to finish the job, which took him about 1.75 hours. Meanwhile, I was charged $224.24 for services that were not completed, which I am now disputing. Use this service at your own risk; I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
Avoid this service if you think your vehicle has a computer in it. It was misleading for them to advertise a $50 diagnostic fee if I chose to proceed with them (which they applied as a discount) and then cancel my appointment shortly after confirming it. They claimed they were unqualified to perform the repair and advised me to go to a local shop, yet charged the full $150 for the diagnostic despite it not being my fault they couldn't do the repair. The technician who came to my home indicated he could do it and provided a full quote, but the administrative team rejected it and kept my full $150. You're better off finding a local mechanic who won't engage in deceptive practices like this. The technician was not at fault.
Extremely disappointing. They didn't show up and failed to inform me. I was left on a call with their support team who promised to schedule me for the next day. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told it would take 24-48 hours for a callback. I strongly advise against using their service.
The first mechanic, who claimed to be certified, looked at my vehicle, was confident about the issue, and sent a ticket for part installation, charging me again. When a new mechanic arrived and changed the part, the same issue persisted. I was told the alternator was the problem, with a charge of $690, including a $400 charge for a $100 part and $290 for labor.
The first technician, who claimed to be certified, diagnosed my car and sent a ticket for a part installation, charging me again. When a new technician arrived and changed the recommended part, the same issue persisted. This time, I was informed the alternator needed replacing at a cost of $690, which included a $400 charge for a $100 part. The labor charges were $290.
I hired a service for a pre-purchase safety inspection on a vehicle, relying on them for safety assurance. Their inspection was grossly negligent and cost me over $6,300 in repairs. They missed a missing lug nut on a rear wheel, which was visible in the photo they took. They also falsely reported the heater as working, even though it only blows cold air, and claimed the headlights were free of cracks when they had visible damage needing a costly replacement. When confronted, they admitted to 'significant discrepancies' in their report but refused to cover the damages, citing their Terms of Service. They refunded the small inspection fee but left me with a hefty repair bill for issues they claimed were fine. Do not trust this service with your safety or finances.
I gave 2 stars only because the technician who provided the service was commendable. However, the company adjusted my requested service and then charged me labor for a service that was not performed! I emailed them four times with no response. I disputed the charge with my bank, but unfortunately, the dispute was unsuccessful. I had previously used this service without issues; the technicians were prompt and the quoted charges were accurate. I will not be using them again.
