We went here with a recommendation from our vet's locum vet. The surgeon did not examine our dog. From the X-rays we supplied, the surgeon explained how our dog needed surgery. It would be necessary to break the bones of our pet and put in a metal plate to fuse the bones at a cost of £5000. If the Operation was not effective, the repeat surgery would not be chargeable. The surgeon did not consider non-invasive options. Our dog is 11 years old. My Wife was horrified, and even if this was the only option, I still think she would have said no. As it was, there were several other options. I recommend consulting alternative options before coming here. We were charged £300 for the consultation. I consider that a rip-off for a 15-minute consultation with a surgeon who seemed more interested in his operation than our dog. I got the impression "A wonderful surgery, Oh, the patient died"
Our dog sadly had an issue with his back and disks and required an emergancy operation. We took him through to Franks which our Vet recommended and they booked him in the same day.He had his operation and they kept us fully updated.Just over a month later and he has regained full use of his back legs and is now back to his usually self.So thank you from Mr Dobby
