Have used XE many times to send money to Thailand and it is always reliable and fast. Made a transfer late on a Friday after business hours and the recipient still received the money early Sat morn. Always quicker during the week. Rates are as good as any I can find but usually no better. Used to be no fee if transferring $500 or more but now it is $1,000 or more to avoid the $5 fee.
Its a big scam, I lost my money, staffs, Customer Service, all are fake, they form a big group to work for them especially to cheat public, can't believe even 1%.. dont believe this company XE,com, group of scammers under one roof. Experts in cheating.
My transfer account was compromised, resulting in unauthorized withdrawals on five occasions. Additionally, six unapproved recipients were added to my account list, and my contact information was altered to an unknown location. I struggled to reach anyone in the Fraud department for nearly 30 days, and their only suggestion was to open a new account. What?
Accessing the website is quite challenging, and it definitely requires enhancements. The transfer times are frustratingly long, taking around 4-5 business days, and if a weekend falls in between, it can stretch to nearly 7-8 days. Ideally, it should only take 1-2 business days. I've been using the service for the past five years, so this isn't just a one-time issue.
I transferred money today, but unfortunately my account was closed for an unknown reason, and the funds were already deducted from my checking account. I cannot trust this service; their operations are terrible. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

I reached out to them via email, and they insisted the funds had arrived, but I have not received anything. I feel incredibly frustrated to potentially lose my money despite providing the necessary proof. If you're considering using this service, please think carefully as it seems unreliable. I plan to contact them again tomorrow. It's disheartening! I will update if I eventually receive my funds! This is not my first time using the account where the money was supposed to go; it typically takes 1-2 days, but now it has been 14 days without any sign of the money. I don’t want to hear excuses about delays from banks. Please either refund my money or ensure the transaction goes through. This payment has been stuck in the system and never completed.
The website presents difficulties when trying to add a recipient, as the data must be entered in a specific order without an option to save as a draft for later completion. There's no way to know in advance what information will be required since it needs to be input in the prescribed sequence. The chat support is ineffective, primarily offering FAQs, and the representatives I interacted with seemed to lack sufficient knowledge of their own systems and procedures. On the other hand, the phone support was helpful, patiently guiding me through the slow process until the issue was resolved and the transaction was successfully completed. Once the problems were addressed, the transaction proceeded smoothly without any further complications.
I’ve transferred over $100K using the company’s currency transfer services, and the experience has consistently been smooth and dependable. Their exchange rates are significantly more favorable than those offered by banks, making a substantial difference for large transactions. For amounts exceeding $100K, you can even contact their support team for a more competitive rate. The only downside I encountered was that, due to the financial institutions I work with, I couldn’t utilize the Bank Transfer option that settles in 24 hours. Instead, I had to resort to Direct Debit, which takes around 72 anxious hours to complete. It can be a bit nerve-wracking when funds leave one account and don’t show up in the other for several days—but in every instance, the transfer has been successful without any complications, which is ultimately what matters most.
