I’ve ordered this same wig four separate times over the years, and unfortunately the experience has been consistent every time. Straight out of the box, the wig looks beautiful. The hair is soft, full, and very natural-looking. However, the shedding is excessive. Despite being very gentle while combing and styling, the wig begins to shed heavily and develops bald spots quickly, which significantly shortens its lifespan.
Over time, the hair becomes thin enough that it’s no longer possible to part it in different ways. I purchased this wig again in December, and by January, it had already thinned so much that re-parting was no longer possible. Additionally, the lace tends to ripple, making it difficult at times to achieve a truly natural look.
I will say that customer service has been better than the wig quality, which is a plus and worth acknowledging. Still, I’m disappointed that I continued to make the same purchase hoping for a different outcome. Given the price point, I expected much better longevity.
It’s unfortunate, because the wig has real potential, but the durability simply doesn’t match the cost, especially when replacements are needed so frequently.
Additionally, I recently submitted a review outlining my experience and confirmed it via the Judge.me verification email. I do not currently see the review published on the product page. It seems to me that negative reviews are filtered as I have now tried twice to make my review public on the XRS website to no avail

I cannot say enough good things about the LFW18 wig from XRS Beauty! The hair quality is absolutely top-tier—soft, silky, and natural-looking right out of the box. The lace melts seamlessly into my skin, making it one of the most realistic wigs I’ve ever worn. Upon unboxing my wig it was beautiful at first. The lace is clear, the length is correct, and the density was on point. However the hair seems stale after I washed it. I always wash my wigs when I get them. The hair is dry, I don’t use shampoo on my wigs I always go with co wash because I don’t want to strip the hair.I even did a deep conditioner, and still the hair gets tangled. Every 5 minutes I am combing out knots. It’s like the wig was on a mannequin on display for a long period of time. I own over 50 wigs and I also am a stylist so I’m very educated when it comes to hair and wigs in general. I know better than to keep my wigs on my mannequins. If the hair isn’t put in a silk bag to protect the texture then the wig will definitely get dried out and stale, and that’s what it gives….STALE! For the money that i spent on this wig I should not be having this problem. I do like this company. I have ordered from here in the past and my wigs were good but this one is trash. It wasn’t worth $600! I am not satisfied at all
These people are crooks. If they send you a garbage wig or make a mistake on your order, they will lie to you and exhaust you in every way possible in order to avoid refunding your money or making an exchange. And after all of that lying, if they finally agree to a return, they expect you to pay for return shipping and trust them to reimburse you for the shipping cost. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Risk-free means that they won’t ever risk returning any money you’ve spent back to you.
I ordered a wig from them. This is the second one. As soon as I opened the box, I realized it was the wrong color. I emailed them to let them know. They insisted they sent the right color and said some nonsense about the color looking different in different light, as if we're not all familiar with how hair color and lights work. They said they would do a "one time" exchange for me, even though the website clearly says, "risk free returns and exchanges". Shady!So I sent a picture of the new wig next to the old wig, letting them know that if they are now referring to the wig I just received as a #2 in color, that I won't be able to order from them in the future because the color they sent me looks terrible on me. At that point, they finally admitted they made a mistake and again said that they would do a "one time free exchange". Again, shady but I played along to try and get this exchange done quickly. I responded letting them know that I understand that mistakes happen and that I need a return shipping label and expedited shipping on the wig that I ordered because I needed it for an event I'm attending. Here's where it got super shady. They wanted ME to pay for return shipping AND they wanted me to pay for another wig in order to get it to me in time. They said that they would reimburse me for the return shipping and refund me for the wrong wig they sent me as soon as they got it back. I don't think so. That's not remotely in the stratosphere of what I would refer to as "risk free returns and exchanges". That's what I would refer to as an interest free loan to correct your mistake. I don't appreciate being treated like a thief who is trying to get away with something when they're the ones who have been behaving like thieves who are trying to get away with something with the very first email that they sent me. I ended up contacting my credit card company to reverse the charges because after a week of going back and forth with these crooks, it was clear that they were not going to live up to the marketing on their website. Do yourself a favor and do your wig shopping somewhere else. There it is in their reply, "one time free exchange". They're admitting that the claim on the website is a lie so is everything else they said in the reply. They seem to have a disease where they can't admit that they made a mistake and sent the wrong wig. Would you trust them to refund you for return shipping?
