YesLawyer.com charged me $400 for a “retainer”. They “assigned” me an attorney, however he was not in my state. After 2 weeks, they emailed me and told me that attorney was no longer in their “network” (which was fine because he was not in my state). After I asked them to re-assign me an attorney or refund my retainer they ceased all further communication. I attempted to dispute the charges with both my credit union and VISA and they fought it to the point my credit union recommended I get in touch with them to get a refund. I tried to reach out to them AGAIN…multiple times…and still have yet to hear anything from them. It has now been 7 months with no resolution. Shame on me for using my debit card. YesLawyer.com is a complete and total scam. They owe me $400 that I will likely never see again.
