I get the distinct impression YOAST cares very much about their product and the people who use it. From my initial contact to first response it all took a little less than an hour. The solution they came up with solved the problem - it was one of incompatibility with another plug-in. As an indication of how team work is capable of great things - ShortPixel (the plugin that was the culprit) immediately updated their plugin, based on the issues described by Yoast and came up with a solution both companies benefitted from. I wish that would happen more often. Teamwork - a brilliant idea. I understand from Shortpixel that they are working on further fixes to not only enhance the Yoast experience but the Wordpress experience as well - doesn't get much better than that - and certainly insures that a positive experience speaks volumes for continued patronage - you've got me for the long haul.
My business is very niche and we don't have thousands of companies fighting for top spot in Google, I find your pressure for me to buy Premium Yoast very intrusive. In my old website builder, before changing to WordPress. I did my own SEO and was never below 5 in google ranking, until I couldn't update/republish my domain as my cPanel didn't support the software anymore.
