Review Time
It’s now 2025 and after a decade, there’s still no app to manage my website on an iPhone, nor any way to access the editor through Safari or other mobile browsers. I'm left with no choice but to use a computer just to enable basic options for clients. The user interface is incredibly outdated, and the overall experience is frustrating. My galleries are inexplicably marked as “archived,” making them inaccessible to my clients. Additionally, it's nearly impossible to remove my credit card from the payment options. The subscription fee is excessively high without justification, and there's no option in the account settings to cancel the subscription. I regret starting my website with this service over ten years ago. It feels like a complete scam.
Well after a year of what seemed reasonable service this month they just increased the 500GB storage we were paying extra for by 240% No notification nothing.. No information on website saying there's a a different price or you'll be charge a higher price, nothing. Smacks of greed and scamy practice!! Cost for additional storage went from £5 per month what my daughter was paying to £17pm, for 500gb which is a total rip-off!!! Now looking to close the account, we can't even change the subscription.
Their customer service system is terrible. I just had a back and forth where it took literally 3 tries for them just to read my email. I'd send them clear, specific information, only for it to be requested again in their response.All of the complaints about the slow, lackluster customer support are true. I'm hoping they can get it together.I currently have a broken link on my website, where customers can't navigate to the products I sell. I'm receiving zero compensation, all I get is "it's a known issue", with no fix in sight. So I guess they know their platform is buggy but they decide to sell it to people anyways?If I can't sell my products, the website doesn't work commercially. I'll be looking into other site hosts and services this week. Zenfolio - How many headaches do you want? They will flap their lips all day with AI generated kind words(After the 24hrs+ it takes them to respond), but little happens in the way of real customer service.
Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Zenfolio. They charged my account after I canceled their service and it seems they no longer have any actual customer service reps to respond to inquiries, only the bot. They provide a phone number, but you cannot get past the menu to get to an agent.
I’ve been with Zenfolio for 10 years and they have been nothing but helpful in the process of building and revamping my website. Their growth on providing new and modern websites has been so worth it to have them as my platform of choice!
I live in Ireland - all of 6,000 miles from where Zenfolio are based yet the customer service, even with the 8 hour time difference, is very good. I find them to be a very decent, accommodating company. I booked a 'Success' session with Dennis and he was excellent .
