Worst company EVER! We were new to Florida so we signed on without looking at reviews. We kept getting over data fees so I jumped up to the unlimited for $150 a month just for internet. Well after the first year I received a notice they were increasing our bill to $180 and had to sign on for 2 years or pay $120 cancelation fee. I got them to reduce to $160 and signed on for the 2 years only because at the time this happened I had alot going on. Well Quantum fiber came into our neighborhood so for the same unlimited data I pay $65.
When I called to cancel they asked why I told them their price was too high and constantly losing internet! She said well we can get you a lower rate. I said $65 and she said probably let me check etc.! I said nope- you've been ripping me off too long. So she said you know you have to pay a $120 cancelation- yep! She said well doesn't look like you have any of our equipment so it will be $120. Nothing about having to pay the 4 days into the billing period. Then the next day a guy from Cox called trying to get us to come back. I had to hang up on him. 2weeks later I get an email saying I owe $16.48 and they were threatening to put me into collection. I called and it was 30 minutes before someone answered. 15 minutes of arguing with this person and they wore me down! I was Done! I hung up paid the bill and will never use them again!

Try getting your service canceled and you end up talking to agents who do nothing but try to offer you other packages. You say you're not interested and they put you on hold . . . and come back with more offers you don't want. We wasted so much time with these pushy agents just to make a simple request. If we ever thought about going back to Cox, this experience solidified our decision to never use them again!

Terrible Service and High Costs!

I experienced terrible service and exorbitant fees! I was paying over $200 each month for a home phone that hadn't functioned in years! The TV rarely worked correctly, constantly buffering, and the WiFi was very slow when it did connect. I called several times to cancel my service, but each time, they put me on hold or transferred me to another department, and every single time, they hung up on me, making it impossible to cancel! After not having a home phone for years, no internet for months, and a TV that barely functioned, I finally took their router to the store and explained my issues to the manager. He mentioned that I might receive a credit and refund, but instead, they billed me for two months of service that didn’t work. I refused to pay, and now they've handed my account to a collection agency, which could damage my credit. I can't justify paying for no service! After seeing numerous reviews from others who faced the same issue, it's clear why they have such low ratings. I switched to another provider for about half the price and so far, I've encountered zero problems and they've never hung up on me!

Avoid this service at all costs.

I strongly advise anyone reading this to steer clear of this service. It took them months to finally bury the cable they left running across our yard. To make matters worse, their prices are excessively high, and when you attempt to cancel after multiple price hikes, you will end up arguing with them for at least an hour as they try to convince you to stay. I will never use this service again.

Disappointing experience with delivery and service

After purchasing a new cell phone and service, the company failed to deliver the phone. After several calls requesting delivery and activation, the representative informed me that they could not fulfill the agreement without an additional payment of $400. This has been a terrible experience and a waste of time. I advise against trusting them!

Extremely disappointing customer service experience.

The level of customer service was incredibly poor throughout the entire process. From the initial sign-up and installation to ongoing billing issues that remained unresolved, as well as service outages and eventual termination, every aspect was marred by inadequate support and frustrating interactions. It's hard to comprehend how this company continues to operate. Consumers should be cautious and consider not supporting such subpar services.

Terrible experience with customer support!

If I could rate this service lower, I absolutely would! The customer support is appalling! I was disconnected three times and waited nearly two hours, yet my issue remains unresolved! If I had the option to select another internet provider, I certainly would! The level of service is truly unacceptable!

Excited about the new fiber installation!

Fiber has just been installed in my neighborhood! Finally, there's competition to challenge the current provider. As soon as we received the notification about the new fiber service, we made the switch. Now, we're enjoying speeds that are more than double what we had, fantastic customer support, and lower costs! Goodbye to the previous provider—no more disappointing customer service, inconsistent speeds, or throttling despite being on an unlimited plan, and we won't miss the high monthly fees. Farewell, we won't look back. P.S.: I won't be responding to any calls from your numbers, so please stop the attempts to win us back. You're blocked!

Extremely Disappointing Experience

If I could rate them with zero stars, I would. They provided a year-long discount but revoked it just a week later, claiming I had prior service while I was out of the country. I paid $45 for a service that I couldn't use at all—no calls, texts, or any communication. They misled me when I switched to another carrier, insisting that since I transferred on the same day as the billing cycle, I was responsible for the next month's payment for a service I didn't utilize. Avoid these scammers at all costs. Their service is unreliable and connection issues are frequent. Customer support is also a complete mess.
