Scam of a company

Scam of a company, they pay you until they don’t and there is 0 recourse when that happens because the few numbers they do have to reach a human, will just ignore you. Avoid at all costs after the bonuses run dry, which only takes a month. They will be shut down from class action lawsuits pretty soon anyway.

I was happy to work, but not for free

I was happy and relieved to work on New Years Day 2026. Shift Smart offered me a 4 hour shift for 52.00$ at a local c-store. I arrived at the location and got the login information from the manager. Knowing what I know now, I should have left. The manager wanted me to stay and help her. I was glad because I needed some money. This economy has destroyed my savings and it's getting worse every day. I say this because it is the truth and after working for over 35 years, I know a good economy from a very bad one. I enjoyed working the 5 hours and truly was happy. But after regaining a strong internet connection, shift Smart had told me to go home immediately even though the manager was pleased with my work and accomplishments. I have not been able to speak to a human at Shift Smart. It's all AI and I vow to never use it again. Be warned ⚠️. You can get shafted like I did, and it's not the enjoyable type of shifting.

It's false advertising on the pay I…

It's false advertising on the pay I signed up for one that said $18 an hour for an hour and a half and when I got there and checked in the pay changed to $12 an hour and they sent me somewhere 35 miles away from my house so when I got paid my pay was just $18 and I had to put half of that in my gas tank so it is not worth it

wasted my time and did not get paid

i showed up to circle k and they had the door locked which made me late , then after checking in was told that she did all the work because Shiftsmart never send them any help so she turned me away and i now the app keep showing that i did not complete all task and i will not paid which is not fair for i wasted gas going way out fountain hill from phx

Absolute trash waste of time

Absolute trash waste of time. I showed up 10 minutes early and checked in, waited for my Lead to arrive. App said I was looking for "Ben." Another person came in, also with Shift Smart for the same task. They double booked us. The Circle K worker who was to train us (not Ben) was very rude and insisted, "I only need one of you." I proved that I had been booked for this spot, this time slot, for "food prep - snack." He insisted "we don't need food prep, they keep making it and it goes to waste." The disconnect is on their end but my time gets wasted and I don't get paid. You would think that, since it keeps happening, it might be up to the store to remove listings for something they'll just send you home for when you show up.

I love it

I love it, it’s a great side hustle once you get the hang of it. You can be as committed or as laid back as you want and you are rewarded for your hard work in the form of silver and gold rewards, early access to shifts, and shift bonuses up to $50 extra for only an hour and a 1/2 of work! Hopefully I’ll start seeing some Walmart orientation shifts soon in FL, but so far so good with Circle K

Worst company ever

Shiftsmart is the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of working for. It'can be hard to find anything positive about a company when I work shifts without compensation. I've worked 3 years and I'm treated like its my first shift. Not only do I not receive pay at times but they punish my reliability score when their app wasn't working. They double book shifts and delete shifts from app while im commuting to store location. 3 years I've never spoken to a human. Do yourself a favor and shift Gears and avoid the frustration andf unknowns of being invisible . Basically im a liar n thief .working at a gas station I should have thought about gas lighting. Next stop B.B.B. The worst Jerry. The worst.

They never answer back on any tickets…

They never answer back on any tickets out in.. If you happent to work longer then needed you dont get paid for that time. They also don't pay you for everything. I am still owed for shifts. Their bonus is a joke. Never got paid for that either. They will change your shifts on you and not even say anything about it..
