I can't believe I fell for this camera purchase. I'm usually cautious, but after finding a review that claimed it was the best entry-level camera for its price, I placed my order. Upon arrival, the camera kept crashing and the battery wouldn't hold a charge. I reached out to the support team through email and their website but received no response. It seems this is a scam since their claims are untrue and their supposed 'friendly support' is a false promise. It’s not a significant amount of money, but I feel cheated. I advise spending a little more on a reputable brand and steering clear of this one.
After reading what seemed to be a genuine review, I bought one of these. The website suggested it was a UK company, but I later discovered it was based in China. I attempted to cancel my order, but they shipped it anyway. The camera does not match the description and is of very low quality. I've informed my credit card company.
This is a complete scam. Do not purchase from this company. The camera is basically just a plastic shell. I have repeatedly asked for the address of their legal representation, but they have not provided it. I've now reported this to the fraud department of my credit card company.
As echoed in other reviews, this is a fraudulent Chinese company pretending to be a UK site. I managed to secure a refund by threatening legal action. For others seeking a refund: 1. Email their support directly (not through the site form). 2. Clearly state that you want to cancel your order (do this before they ship it). 3. They may offer a minimal refund and suggest sending the product out. This indicates they've received your cancellation request and haven't shipped it yet, entitling you to a full refund. 4. Keep all emails for reference with your bank. I received my refund this morning (so it does work).
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I paid an extra fee for express shipping that was supposed to take 3-5 working days, but it arrived late. The camera did not meet many of the advertised specifications and was exceedingly slow. It was unfit for purpose. Fortunately, my credit card company reversed the charge after I complained. Their website falsely claims they have a UK warehouse; mine came from China. I even offered to return the camera to their supposed UK warehouse but received no response!
This is an extremely cheap camera that is not even adequate as a toy. It cannot focus beyond blurred images, and the claim of being 4k is laughable. I mistakenly thought I was purchasing a different brand and didn’t check reviews beforehand.
