I booked a class for 6:30 pm and arrived at 6:29 pm, unaware of the policy regarding late entry. Having been there infrequently, I didn't know that even being a few seconds late would prevent entry. I walked in, still needing to change, and was signed in. While preparing in the changing room, an announcement was made that entry would close in 30 seconds. I thought this didn't apply to me since I had just entered the studio. However, when I attempted to join the class at exactly 6:30, the instructor stopped me and insisted I leave instead of allowing me to start quietly. I explained that it was still 6:30 and that I was unaware of the rule, but he insisted I exit. When I approached the reception for clarification, the response was unhelpful and dismissive, with no attempt to address my concerns. The service was incredibly rude and lacked any empathy. I certainly won't return, as it felt like dealing with unfeeling representatives who had no regard for my situation.
As a long-time member, I usually enjoy my experience but find the new cancellation policy quite excessive. Previously, missing a class meant losing a credit, which was acceptable, but now if you feel unwell before a later class, the only way to avoid a charge is to attend, which isn't ideal for anyone. I have a condition that makes me prone to illness, and this new policy has me considering canceling my membership. If you need more flexibility, especially with children and last-minute illnesses, this might not be the right place for you.
I booked a class at 6:30 pm through a platform and arrived at the location at 6:29 pm. Unaware of the rule about not entering a class even 30 seconds after it starts, I was let in despite being late to my previous class. As I got ready in the changing room, they announced that I had 30 seconds to enter the room or I wouldn't be able to attend. I thought this didn't apply to me since they had just signed me in, but they closed the door as I walked in at 6:30. The instructor stopped the class and told me to leave instead of allowing me to join quietly. I tried to explain my situation, but he insisted I exit. When I approached the reception to ask why I wasn't informed of the rule, the staff was unhelpful and rude, stating they couldn't predict how long it would take me to get ready. The service was incredibly poor and lacked any empathy. I definitely won't return, as it felt like dealing with unfeeling robots.
