Review Time
Everything went well I filled out papers on line but they wouldn't print out right. I called the next day and asked if they could send them and they said they would that I would get an email. But never received anything so I sent an email questioning about things and still no papers no email no nothing. I told them on the email to just refund my money, I'm not happy at all with your business!!!
While this tool is great at letting you understand exactly what the court is asking for, I had to resubmit my paperwork four times at the counter because something wasn't right each time. Then I was missing documents that I needed because they weren't included in my packet. I had to get another document copied and refilled out because it was corrupted from their downloadable files. I would not recommend spending your money on this.
Your website promises a process that is incredibly easy and straightforward, which is why I thought it would be right for me. My husband and I have no significant debt, no major assets, and have been separated for 20 years. Maybe I should have known better, but I paid you, completed the forms with basic information, and then proceeded to read the Illinois Filing Instructions. I believe that I have a basic level of intelligence and am considered to be thoughtful and organized, which is why I cannot figure out how the process you've outlined after simply providing forms is considered manageable, much less simple for most other users. I will not be taking the steps I need to at this point and don't have money for a lawyer to supplement what I've already paid for (as you recommend at various points) or to start from the beginning, but having read about payment, do not expect you to do the right thing and provide a refund. I just wanted you to know how disappointed and frustrated I am by the difference between what you promised and what I am left with.
Less than satisfactory. I was disappointed when I logged back in to the site after the Initial log to finish my paper work. I found it nearly in possible time go back and complete all unanswered questions. I ended up hiring a lawyer and pay them to file it. Money well wasted.
None of the forms we used were accepted by the court in New Hampshire for my simple, uncontested divorce. We were not even splitting things up... I thought this would be perfect for a simple divorce by using this site, and it was until everything was rejected by the court because the format was not the same as what the state provides. So I had to redo everything on their forms. Big waste of $300. The case worker was very helpful filling everything out, more so than this site, and best of all TOTALLY FREE!!!
