I will never again donate through Act Blue. I have lost over $1,200.00 that I know of in auto payments I didn't authorize. What a scam

Scammers and thieves!

They have been draining my dad's account for months. He thought he got it stopped in November of 2022. Found out today that they completely drained his account. He had $3.00 left in his account. He's on social security. He just got his money in a week ago and because of this scam, he is broke.

5 Years of Regret

First donated in 2019 and I've been PLAGUED with spam email/texts ever since. It's never slowed down, in fact it just gets worse every year. Truly the worst experience I've ever had with a company.

I donated to the first presidenti…

I donated to the first presidential campaign of Bernie sanders, with later donations going , I believe, through Act Blue. Later I learned that, without my permission. AB was sending some of my money to the despicable Hillary Clinton in a scheme that spread corruption throughout the Democratic Party mechanism. The resignation of Tulsi Gabbard, the rare honest politician of either party, was, as I now recall, the first clue HC’s greed has taken over a willingly corrupt DNC. Now current reports are the AB has illegally channeled money to the corrupt core of the democrat party by falsely claiming small contributors like me have actually donated much more than we actually donated. I went on line to see if AN had used my name to pour even more money into the corrupt structure of the party of Jefferson Davis, Ross Barnett and George Wallace and our most popular racist Joe Biden (whose opposition to school was just an initial foray of a lifetime of racism unfortunately I can’t find out anything. If you know how I can learn whether the AC corruption unit stole my identity, please let me know. I am a 78 year old democrat who has never voted for any republican for any federal office but I am disgusted by the current liars and frauds pretending to be democrats

I've never had any issues with donating through ActBlue. Yes, I get some texts and e-mails from them but I just delete the e-mails and reply STOP to the texts. I'm happy there is such a successful business that is helping the democratic party. All good.

Ruined by spam

Made a donation via ActBlue and now I receive spam texts from numerous campaigns with ever-changing phone numbers so blocking doesn’t work. To the point where my phone is not useful as a communication device. These are the tactics of scam artists. It seems unethical. I’m unlikely to donate to any democratic cause ever again due to my experience with ActBlue.

I donate through ActBlue and have no problems.

I have donated through ActBlue for years and I have never had most of the problems people on this and other sites complain about. I have never been charged for more than I entered. I have never had unauthorized charges taken from my credit card (which is all I use on line). At one time, you had to be careful to make sure your donation was entered as one time only and not recurring, but when I emailed them about it, they took care of it promptly. You do have to be careful when their form is set up to split your donation between multiple donees - be sure to enter zeros for the ones that you don't want to donate to.Just read the screens carefully and use a credit card, not your bank account (who DOES that!).Understand that virtually all political organizations share their email lists and you will indeed get spam from any one of them that you interact with. It's not unique to ActBlue.I am suspicious of people who complain about ActBlue. Too many bots out there.
