Customer service is evidently not a focus for this company. It raises questions why they would hold a pre-Christmas auction just a week before Christmas and then close the next day for a 17-day holiday, leaving buyers unable to collect their items until the New Year, especially when many purchased items as gifts. Any reasonable company would keep their offices open until December 23rd for collections or at least inform customers on their website and auction listings about the collection delays. Additionally, be cautious of the buyer's premium; while the listings state a 30% fee, there's also a hidden 2.4% charge for bidding through their platform that is not clearly disclosed. Overall, my experience has not been positive, and I feel they do not prioritize customer service.

The bureaucracy here would please a French civil servant. All I needed was a quote to pack and send two small items. They could have simply included a tick box for this on the invoice. Instead, I wasted 45 minutes searching for a specific form and ended up frustrated, as they seemed to ask for every detail except my shoe size. I lost interest, and they won't even resell the items because they are deemed too low in value—why offer them in the first place? UPDATE: The company did reach out via email, but I still find their online forms overly complicated and bureaucratic. Regarding postage and packaging charges, I can only say that the fees were in line with my expectations before I made my bid.
I am very pleased with the Celtic ring I purchased as a wedding ring for my husband. It was my first time buying, and the process was straightforward. When I emailed with a question, they were very responsive. However, I was surprised by the postage cost from the London saleroom. They charged £15 plus VAT, totaling £18 for a small ring, while the delivery label showed £8.75, which felt like an overcharge.
This was my first experience selling at auction, and I hope it won’t be my last. The staff made the process smooth and were both friendly and professional. I highly recommend this auction house. Thank you to everyone involved!
The team at this auction house is friendly, knowledgeable, and very supportive with pre and post-auction inquiries. They offer excellent online and in-person customer service. They are flexible and attentive to my needs, providing great post-auction pickup for my won lots. I have purchased from various locations this year, and all experiences have been professional and friendly. Thanks to the team!
Inquiries were answered quickly and helpfully. Collecting my purchased items was very easy. My only issue is with using the website; while the auction items are well detailed and set up for inspection, I found the website not very user-friendly, especially for those who aren't very tech-savvy. Setting up my interests when I couldn't attend the auction in person was a bit challenging. Otherwise, the service was friendly and professional.
