If I could give these scammers ZERO stars, I would. I'm starting to think ALL home warranty companies and ALL home insurance companies are nothing but scammers, fraudsters and thieves! I have the Platinum plan with AFC Home Warranty and the LED light panel on my Whirlpool refrigerator went out, and wouldn't you know it, buried deep in the terms and conditions of my policy, it says that AFC Home Warranty doesn't cover that. Of course they don't cover it, because all these home warranty companies LOVE taking your money every month, but when it comes time to DO THEIR JOB and pay for something that is broken on your appliance, they don't want to cover it! I'm done! I mine as well just take the money I would pay to AFC Home Warranty every month and put it in a savings account for future home and appliance repairs. Now, here is where AFC Home Warranty is going to reply to my review with their weak excuse as to why they don't cover the LCD light panel in a refrigerator.
They started off lying about coverage. If I had not call back to verify it would had went undocumented. I have read some of the BBB complaints and they all say the same about only paying $100.00 toward a claim. I hope I don't ever have to go through that non-sense. I paid for a year based on the coversation I had with the sales manager. I hope He holds true to his word.
