Review Time
I was recently sent a Paysend Receipt as supposed proof of purchase & told to hit the Receipt link & follow the prompts. I had asked to be paid via Osko but the purchaser chose this ridiculous mode of transfer after obtaining my PayID details, assuring me it was instantaneous & secure. I hit the link & After asking for a suspiciously large amount of personal information, the screen just kept spinning while showing a message advising to ‘….keep page open as this may take a few minutes’. A Few minutes - Ha! Some 50mins later nothing had happened. I refreshed but got nowhere. I attempted this 3x before accessing the Paysend ‘Helpdesk’ - & what a joke that became. A supposed ‘customer service technician’ asked for further information & kept me waiting more than 30mins without acknowledging me at all. I repeatedly asked if I was still being attended to, but was ignored. Eventually a msg appeared asking me to have the ‘Payer’ contact them. I tried explaining that I was no longer getting replies from that person, which made me more suspicious of a Scam. I disconnected from the appalling customer service girl & left a scathing review of her performance, before contacting my bank to secure my Account. My bank had not heard of Paysend & had to look it up. When I confirmed all the personal info I had to divulged, they told me to go to directly a branch to change all my details, as they also found the immoderate amount of info requested to be highly suss. I awoke the next day to find a sms from Paysend apologising for any inconvenience & suggesting I retry the receipt link, as ‘maintenance’ had been performed to ensure success this time. I foolishly did so & again was asked for further account info including Customer No.& password. Even with all this the Link failed - it now goes to an ‘unfound’ Amazon page…… What the…..?? I again had to contact my bank to secure my Account. Luckily I use a specific account for online purchases etc, which has No funds kept in it, so If this was a Scam attempt they failed to access any $s Thankfully. I have since tried to contact the supposed ‘purchaser’ but get No reply. I can therefore only assume this was a Scam attempt & would advise against using Paysend, who seemed a willing participant in this fraudulent attempt to wrought me. What is the world coming to when thieves go to these lengths & Pay Aps either assist or at best, turn a blind eye? Hours of time wasted & a major hassle changing Acct details twice for security purposes. BEWARE of Paysend! My advice is to give it a Big Miss altogether! Shame on them IF it is a legit company, which I seriously doubt.

Absolutely horrific to deal with been trying for 4 months to close my dead mothers account & all I keep getting told is “ it’s getting dealt with” 3 letters arrived in one day & I keep getting told the same rubbish & that someone will call to confirm it’s been 4 MONTHS.
Paysend consistently encourages customers to open currency accounts with them, but unfortunately, they promptly lock your funds once deposits are made. Regrettably, this is precisely what happened in my case. The process of regaining access to my hard-earned funds has stretched on for an entire month. My interactions with their customer service have been deeply frustrating and unproductive. Their responses typically take nearly six hours, and they repeatedly request various documents on each reply, leaving me wondering why they can't request all necessary documentation at once. It will typically take you 36 hours of replies to submit only 6 documents!I've found myself involved in over 15 separate email threads with Paysend, yet none of them have led to a resolution of the issue. They repeatedly ask for the same documents, and once these are provided, they go silent, forcing me to initiate a new chat session. This disheartening cycle continues relentlessly. It has now been over a month without any form of assistance. This level of customer service is entirely unacceptable, especially from a financial institution that you entrust with your money. My advice: avoid Paysend at all costs!Escalation Reference: Escalation: KYC + 4917667339987
Paysend is requiring three of my bank statements from my private bank to be submitted to them to see the salary transfers from my employer to verify my income, but doesn't allow me to black out my other private personal transactions which are absolutely not related to verify my income. Therefore, Paysend is clearly violating GDPR. Their money transfer mobile app and their scam company must be shut down immediately. DO NOT TRUST PAYSEND AND AVOID IT!!!
