My stove stopped working and I filed a claim on 8/15. Two weeks later they finally had someone to come and diagnose the problem. It was not able to be fixed. I took the cash out option of only $443.00 on a $1200.00 range. I went to Lowes on August 30 and purchased a new range. I had to pay for it first and then submit the receipt which I did on the same day. After 2 weeks I called for the status of my rebate. I was told that they have a 3rd party vendor who processes the rebates and that it takes up to 8 weeks to process. I made several additional calls and was told the same. I was informed that I would have my check October 31. October 31 came and went. I finally received the check on November 3. I called to cancel my coverage and again, I got transferred multiple times

Sales rep actually did a side by side comparison with me at my own pace allowing me to take the lead, never interrupting, displaying extreme patience and thoroughly explaining each covered item. He allowed me to pick and chose covered items and even helped me chose the best plan for me.. and it wasn't even the most expensive plan. Honesty at its best!!!

Your service to repair the items at…

Your service to repair the items at fault. Long story short i ended ,buying the part and repairing it my self in one day you guys been on this for about 4 weeks and still haven't closed it out. I'd say that's pretty poor service. And your service man you sent out was a joke.

AFC does not act in good faith

AFC does not act in good faith. Our Sales rep. specifically told that if an appliance cannot be repaired AFC would pay for replacement at full replacement value. Our fridge broke down and they offered $100.00 toward replacement. We disputed the amount ( actual replacement $1600.00) they held firm to their offer. We asked for arbitration. They first claimed our contract was void, after the fact. They then advised it would cost us $275.00 file an arbitration claim, and an additional $275.00 if we lost the arbitration. Of course none of this is mentioned in its contract. Attempt to contact the "arbitration" vendor to do due diligence have not received no response.Taking a deeper dive into AFC online history reveals they have a habit on extremely low balling their clients reimbursement, and generally treating their clients poorly.In summary AFC sales reps materially mislead potential clients, they low ball in the extreme, replacement value of covered appliances, they void their contracts after a claim is made and disputed, and make disputes costly, and full of hassles.I would look else where for a more ethical warranty company,
